Iran can station all the war ships they want but i am not sure how long they will be stationed that close the the U.S. They will probably just destroy them and wipe iran off the face of the earth and have a good laugh when its over and then all the other countries will be scared once again of the united states.

Actually it's believed to have been invented in India, the first evidence of chess comes from Persia (Iran), and as the usual suspects are so fond of pointing out "without evidence it's a conspiracy theory"

And as for the OP, if they stay in International waters Iranian warships have the right under international maritime law to travel wherever they like and if they want to "park" two feet from American territorial waters then tough luck, any move to try to make them move would be an unprovoked act of war by the USA (not that that's ever stopped them doing anything)

That is a very good point! I think many Americans and other westerners consider Iran an Arab state, it isn't. Persians are no one to underestimate! I think history has proved that

good i will contact local east coast fishing boats and tell them to bring their deer rifles. why waste naval artillery shells and missiles when 30-06 will do the trick. i wonder how much ransom iran would pay to get their boats back hmmm. and while their navy guys are our geust they can enjoy some of our local barbecue made out of turkey or deer since i have heard pig is not well liked in iran
