So there you have it folks, President Obama is a Christian. Would a Muslim say that Jesus Christ is Lord? Would the anti-christ say that Jesus Christ is Lord? He didn't say son of the lord or a prophet, he said "I believe Jesus Christ is Lord".

I guess he's not a reptilian or any other thing besides an African-American human man that believes in Jesus Christ and worked/studied hard enough to win the presidency. Nothing to see here folks, lets move along.

On another note, how many of you believe the heckler should be arrested and convicted like These Kids

Yes.

He also said that he was going to fix the economy.

He can say whatever he wants.

I choose not to believe him.

There is a similar thread already. I will post the question as I did there: Do you think this heckler could have been a plant? The fundamental Christian voters could be swayed by hearing BHO say he believes in Jesus. What do you think?

You can not believe the first thing. That's fine

You're a complete jackass for not taking a man on his religious word, even if he is lying. Do you know why? It signifies that you're the sort of backwards asshat who would care about such a thing. Hate the man for whatever, except for Religion. You shouldn't even be on a conspiracy site if you're up the church's ass like this. You disgust me, and make me ashamed to look in the mirror. I wonder what part of me is so damn dogmatic that it represents itself in such a way...such intolerance...so unChrist like.

Because he needs everyone to believe it, so church's can make profit. After everything he knows about the world that we don't do you really think he believes?

A man can claim he's a chair, that doesn't make him a chair. His actions are not that of a Christian. His ACTIONS are what define him, because actions speak louder than words. He is not a Christian. Judge by the fruit their bear.

Also, I'm not saying I believe Obama is the Anti-Christ (I know he's a Anti-Christ, but not -the- Anti-Christ), but the man in the Bible deemed -the- Anti-Christ, does not know he is the Anti-Christ, until first he suffers an injury, likely to the head, and is believed to be dead (an assassination?), but 3 days later arises and claims himself God.

That's your Anti-Christ. The man has died, the Devil has taken his body.

The three little pigs is a story, they never existed. Jesus was a real man. If you deny that, you are a fool.

What is a "GJ" American?

Hes saying what you want him to say.

83% of Americans believe in the Bible...they believe its a true story......of course he is going to try and appeal to the majority.

If 83% were Muslim he would say something to appease them, thats politics for ya

When I read your complete sentence that I quoted above, I realize that being called the names that you've given me is an absolute compliment, coming from you.

Thank you.

Hate the man for whatever, except for Religion.

Maybe you can clue me in as to where in my post I expressed hatred for the man, but I don't think that you can.

You disgust me, and make me ashamed to look in the mirror.

I read this and almost feel hate coming my way...... but it's me that is hateful, right?

He was simply practicing "Taqiyya" where muslims are allowed to lie to "infidels"...

An example of "Taqiyya" is when Muhammad used deception to trick his personal enemies into letting down their guard and exposing themselves to slaughter by pretending to seek peace...

Sound familiar...

Here is my second try.
Does the above quote not read GJ americans? Maybe I can read afterall.
Instead of being a rude jerk/troll you could have just answered the question. I got the answer from another poster though- so no need.

Well the other thread got closed so i guess we will have to keep it here.

I am not saying Obama is or isn't a bad guy. I am just wondering if my fellow ATS'ers believe that a Muslim or te anti-christ would proclaim Jesus Christ as lord?

Jesus is very real and in fact the most famous man ever born. The only other man that could come even remotely close to Jesus Christ is Adam (the first man). For Jesus to attain such respect and notability means he had to have done something GREAT. Imho Jesus Christ is in fact God.

Not to be a grammar nazi but...for someone who accused me of not being able to read...perhaps if your post were written in a way that somewhat resembled readable English.

It is illogical to believe Jesus was just a man. The apostles Matthew, Mark, Luke and John should be all the evidence you need, but not because of their story. These 4 men (obviously the influence of the first 4 books in the NT), believed beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus Christ was, and is, the Lord.

Now tell me, if Jesus Christ was just a man, meaning he had no "divine" powers, nor did he resurrect from the grave after 3 days, then we come to several issues that don't logically fit. Questions.

- If Jesus did not actually rise from the dead, why did the disciples go from frightened, timid followers of Jesus before his death, to bold evangelists willing to die preaching his resurrection if they just really made the whole thing up and he was still dead?

- Why were the disciples willing to be tortured and killed for a known lie?
You don't need a a degree in psychology to know people do not die for a cause they know to be false. People do certainly die for false beliefs all the time, but they think they are dying for the truth. Example, Hale-Bopp. Heaven's Gate. The people who believed beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Hale-Bopp comet had a fleet of UFOs behind it, and would bring destruction on Earth once it passed. They killed themselves when it passed, hoping to hitch a ride out of here. Obviously they were wrong, and we're still here.

The apostles, on the other hand, would have known if it was a lie or not, and if they chose to cover it up to save their own butts from humiliation of being wrong, they would have to suffer the pain of torture, humiliation (regardless), mockery, persecution, and ultimately death.

Logically, one does not die for a belief that they know is wrong. In this case, they knew they were right. Because Jesus did rise.

These are just 2 questions out of many that would arise should Jesus have been 'just a man'.
