An explosive blast wave, or just plain any blast wave of substance could have the same effect by overpressurisation. To add any scenario is open at this moment.

this is weirding me out a bit, I watched starship trooper last night for the first time in yeears..the bug meteor hit Buenos Aires in the film...

back to reality, im thinking more CME than UARS, for one, theres no way one of the parts that remained after re-entry could wipe out two houses, is there? im not entirely sure but i'd assume no, for all nasa's failings to find the damned thing they did confirm re-entry days ago.

I wouldn't rule out meteorite either.

Detuvieron al hombre que "vio" el cometa y centran las pericias sobre las garrafas They arrested the man who "saw" the comet and the skills focus on the bottles

I had to use Google translate for this page but they arrested the person who said it was a comet and who also released a photo of alleged comet only to plead that it was all made up.

Makes you think. The Official story is that a bottle was connectede haphazardly to a furnace that caused an explosion.

,Sodium cyanide in meteors and comets create electrostatic charge creating EMP discharge on impact or approach.

Maybe NASA knew something else was going to come crashing down and they used UARS as the main media hit/front so most people wouldn't really care. Just saying.

I've heard yesterday on radio that some people in Montreal, Canada saw balls of fire falling from the sky in the evening. The same thing supposedly happened in Ontario, Vermont and New York.

If they arrested people for posting hoaxes half this forum would be in jail
sounds like a total bs story to me
The last story I read said these objects seemed to be guided somehow

Wow......it could be ANYTHING yet you have to add Elenin to the title!!

A ball of fire falling from the heavens.....its not unusual. Plenty of things (meteors) fall through our atmosphere on a daily basis.

Nothing to see here right? Elenin or not when is the last time people were killed by "space debris"?

It is true that meteors come through a lot. No one that we know of has ever been killed by meteors, however considering in many areas populations have grown immensely, it was bound to happen sooner or later that a house or block would get hit by a meteor and cause damage. Elenin is past us, and the UARS went down a few days ago. Most of the meteor burns up coming thorough our atmosphere and if there is enough left to impact the earth, many times it is between the size of a small to big marble. The poster didn't attack anyone, he/she was merely remarking that these things happen. It's unfortunate that someone got killed and other houses houses were messed up, but attacking a poster because they are providing information is ridiculous.

I'd also like to understand, if this was an explosion, as in fireball ... where's the fire damage? I see tons of damage, but no scorching? What kind of fire leaves not scorching or black mess or ash or something that resembles fire damage?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I always thought that a 'fire'ball would leave 'fire' evidence, ash, black scorch-marks, that kind of stuff, you know? Is it different with blue fireballs? Or am I just not seeing the fire damage?

To my mind it could well be the reverse, and that the 'Johnny-come-lately' is the NEO mentioned by Themaninwhite in relation to what his daughter heard from a NASA source possibly this one, 2011 SE58/ Sep 27/ 0.6 LD -- /13 m. (also described here somewhere, as "big as a bus") that rings a bell!

It is known that there was still telemetry from the satellite, that must mean that NASA still had some radio contact source, I don't know what other tracking devices they may also have had, and that is a bother, could the NEO have been invented? I know that back a bit, the satellite re-entry was considered to be, 'In the southwest pacific, and north of New Guinea' and that is kinda, sort of, well you get the picture!

Even in that case, if that is what happened, where is the fire damage? Lots of damage, no evidence of fire.

*sigh* maybe my aching head is just not working properly right now, but I don't understand, if a furnace exploded, wouldn't there be fire damage? You know, evidence of a fire? I see lots of rubble like this huge area has been hit or something of the sort, almost like and earthquake damage, and it crumbled just about everything, but I don't see the fire damage.

I'm thinking this might be the start of a meteor storm, that would explain why we were told about the satellite so as if anyone sees anything they'll think it was that. It would also explain why so many of the governments of the world are closing temporarily and Obama has headed to Denver airport.

Perhaps this meteor storm starts on 28th or 29th September, like nothing we've ever witnessed before

,It was a fireball that blast but it was a cold blast releasing only energy and EMP,that's what happen' in Tunguska,a high density ball of energy exploding on surface mid air impact whit a cold blast.

At the end of the day we'll just have to make our own conclusions.

It's not like we'll get a clear result on this. Firefighters, apparent witnesses seeing something else, others saying one thing, photos showing another and so fourth.

Oh, ok, that would explain it, thanks

In which case then, it's safe to say, it can't be UARS or gas or anything like that, this could only have been like a meteor, correct? Anything else would have left fire damage, because there would have been actual fire involved.

Probably too soon to tell, but has anybody found out what the chemicals in the neighboring house consisted of yet?

Maybe it was a meth lab explosion.

Picture of wall blown out in Esteban Echeverría:

Picture of a known meth explosion:

Maybe the "fireball" was an effect of falling debris rather than the "cause" of the explosion. I don't want to upset Argentinians, but there are meth labs there.

Everyone who looks at the sky and looks everywhere for something will always find something that they think leads to bigger things that actually aren't.

Its best to just do what you usually do. Go to work, have a relationship, enjoy life and look at the sky only when you have time.

The conciousness is insane really. Think positive and nothing happens badly, think doom and gloom and thats all you see between the lines.

I'd rather be blown away then look for stuff and only be dissapointed.
