I listened to the recording you made of the noise. The last 20 seconds is what interests me the most. There is a frequency within that noise that caused an immediate physiological effect, as both my wife and I noticed our pets behavior became one of paranoia for the few seconds it was there each and every time we played it back.

Your recording is extremely important, in my opinion, to finding out what is happening.

Reaction of any animals to this sound.

We can easily explain the cause of unusual animal behavior seconds before humans feel an earthquake. Very few humans notice the smaller P wave that travels the fastest from the earthquake source and arrives before the larger S wave. But many animals with more keen senses are able to feel the P wave seconds before the S wave arrives. As for sensing an impending earthquake days or weeks before it occurs, that's a different story.

I will carry on from Page 1 in a minute, but you do realise that all that wavy stuff on the seismo around the time of the local quake is the 6.4 at Tonga? Could that have something to do with it.

The fluxgate magnetometer does not show a big change at the right time as far as I can see.

Those plots are a dead give away for cultural noise as it happens around the same time every day.

I would not be worrying about those signals too much.

Something was affecting the seismos when your wife heard the sound. This is the VHZ channel which is a 1 sample every 10 seconds channel and is good for showing large overall patterns.

This is a little unusual in that whilst it sounds a bit like solar the frequency is very low. The bulk of this time slice is sub 1Hz.

I am sorry I have not responded in the last few hours, as I do have family commitments. I will be playing catch up for awhile reading and responding to those who have participated. I did not expect to come back a few hours later and see this many responses, but it is a pleasant surprise.

I was hoping you would jump in, as your knowledge in this area is great. The links you provided are excellent! There are many details about our world and the universe that we know, but there are even more that we don't know, and possibly even some we are misunderstanding completely.

This is a hot spot for unconventional thinking, and I would be foolish not to listen to everything that everyone contributes. The details are everything, and those details change with differences in perspective.

A year ago we were both playing an online video game when our ears started ringing and humming, both at the same time. How can tinnitus happen in two people starting the very same moment.
It never went away. This last few months the sound has intensified getting steadily louder, my husband has tried several types of ear drops this week that only made his ears totally plugged. The sound is so loud now it is hard to go to sleep.

for the past couple of weeks, at ni.ght, when all is quiet, i have been hearing a kind of general humming, i've not been to have my ears checked but i don't think it's anything to do with my hearing

When you mentioned most of the slice being below 1HZ, I remembered I had a chart of subsonic frequency effects. It took me a few minutes to find it but here it is. I do not remember where I acquired this. Look at the effects below 1HZ......

I am aware of animal reactions before earthquakes. What Stealthy and I were comparing is the "strange noise" recordings, which, in my case, was 3 hours before the quake. In S.kat's case, there was no earthquake- it was the strange sound itself that provoked/caused the response.

Thanks for making sure I knew about the animal reaction to earthquakes- sometimes in the search for the complex, we forget the ordinary.

None that I could find,but to think they( the enemy) could cause you harm is a little frightening,to say the least.

Hi , I think this might be what you're looking for , everything I read on this is seriously making things click and raising many red flags due to the types of effects...wow.....a LOT of "normal;" things of the everyday variety can be explained by these frequencies....If Germany did it , I wonder how advances the U.S> and other countries are with Infrasound? I'm my field of work,sometimes the simplest solution is the correct one.
I work on elevators,and,for example,had a mechanic bang his head for days,reading prints and troubleshooting.
I came in to assist,looked at the relay logic controller,and told him"hey,dude,there is a bug(insect)stuck in the contacts of that relay.In a matter of minutes.
Always look beyond.If your head gets buried to deep in it,walk away for awhile.

Your wisdom is commendable. I have assisted others in automotive repair- mainly diagnosing codes and electrical problems. All too many times, people would throw hundreds or thousands of dollars into sensors and such, only to find out it was a bad PCM ground.

The point you make should be applied by all who do research or troubleshooting.

Yeah,to bad they laid me off after 24 years of service due to "lack of work".

The New Madrid fault is a powerful fault, just not very active. I don't know the details, but having something to do with the type of ground and depths, etc., a 7.0 quake would feel more like a California 9.0. I live in the Chicago suburbs - I don't expect my house to come crumbling down when "The Big One" hits southern IL, but I wouldn't be surprised by foundation cracks, broken windows, etc., if its a big enough quake. Added quake insurance to my homeowners policy; its only about $50/year. I did this mainly so I can look around and say "HA! Told Ya So!" as I rebuild

Anyway, I've been awaiting big CME hits, as well as this late-Sep Earth-Sun-Elenin conjunction to either completely discount the idea of either somehow triggering earthquakes (if none happens) or to continue thinking it *might* be possible if one does happen in the next few days.

The thing that has me fascinated is the element of FEAR.

I just think it's interesting that we're now learning of all these new additions(new to us) like solar flares , infrasonic waves , HAARP whether it's regular testing or things they're keeping from us,lol.....that there is such a large amount of Panic and Anxiety disorders.
I think it's definitely worth investigating though. Could be totally separate or absolutely linked.

You should look for information on spiritual awakening. That ringing seem to be a common theme for some. Have not had it myself on my journey. I had the feeling of touch on my head instead when I had nice/happy/higher thoughts. Still should probably have this in a religon/faith/awakeening thread.
