yes indeed lets talk about ignorance and greed like:
throwing billions upon billions of dollars at the educational system of america that produce nothing but ignorance
Let's talk about that ignorance right there.
We used to have a top notch education system. What happened to it?
You seem to blame Democrats for spending money on a failing system. So the Democrats throw money at it.
Do you honestly believe the CAUSE of the failure is too much money?
What has the other party been up to?
Firing teachers.
Cutting funding for schools and related after school programs.
Trying to insert imaginary friends into Science books.
No Child Left Behind.
Tell me the problem is too much money so we can really discuss ignorance.
From coast to coast, news stories abound about communist indoctrination in U.S. schools. For example, the New York Times recently reported that a teacher working at Beacon High School in New York City had pictures of Che Guevara and Fidel Castro on the walls of his classroom, took students on a field trip to Cuba, and bluntly admitted to the school principal that he’s a communist. And Fox News recently reported that students at Black Pine Circle School in Berkeley, California created a mosaic that included symbols of communism and a prediction that “capitalism will fail.”
A look at the NEA website reveals a shocking recommendation to its members. The union that represents the teachers that we send our children to every school day suggests that its members read the communist-like manifesto of famed left-wing agitator Saul Alinsky.
That's right, the NEA wants its members, America's teachers, to become programmed by the ideas and policy prescriptions in a communist manifesto.
Here is how they describe Alinsky's books:
NEA recommends the following Saul Alinsky books to those members of our Association who are involved in grassroots organizing, especially Association Representatives (ARs) -- also known as building reps or shop stewards -- and leaders at local affiliates.
In a 2003 article titled “NEA Hastens Death of American Education,” veteran journalist Ralph de Toledano wrote that in 1938 “the Institute for Social Research, founded by the Comintern, appeared on the Columbia University campus, taking over the Teachers College, the country’s most influential school of education.” “Better known as the Frankfurt School,” de Toledano continued, “… [the Institute] eschewed the economic aspects of Marxism and promulgated a substitute based on Marx’s 1843 preachments. Later labeled neo-Marxism, the program called for the destruction of religion, the family, education and all moral values, along with the capture of the intellectuals and the instruments of mass communication such as the press, radio and films.

Are you suggesting are schools started trending downward the moment the department of education was created?
Well English seems to be an issue for you. Is it not your first language? You are here to prove Republicans are
I don't normally get involved with these childish tactics, but the door is soooooo wide open.
"are schools"? C'mon, you're trying to bash someone's English skills...get it right.
rofl
Senator Hillary Clinton told the NEA delegates that she will fight school vouchers "with every breath in my body." Reiterating the message of her book "It Takes a Village," she called for universal preschool for four-year-olds.
Senator Barack Obama likewise inveighed against "passing out vouchers." Former Senator John Edwards also announced his opposition to vouchers and proposed that the federal government pay college tuition for all students who will work ten hours a week.
Governor Bill Richardson wants to "raise teacher's average minimum wage to $40,000 a year." Rep. Dennis Kucinich goes all-out for "a universal prekindergarten system which will provide year-around daycare for children ages 3-5."
All Democratic candidates look forward to increased federal control of and spending for public schools. And they all attacked George W. Bush's No Child Left Behind law for not appropriating more funds to implement it.
After cheering the promises made by the candidates, NEA delegates buckled down to the serious business of spelling out their political goals, many of which have nothing whatever to do with giving schoolchildren a better education.
The NEA demands a tax-supported single-payer health-care plan (socialized medicine) for all residents (a word artfully chosen to include illegal aliens). The NEA supports immigration "reform" that "includes [note: this is a change from last year's verb "may include"] a path to permanent residency, citizenship, or asylum" for illegal aliens.

Nothing in your entire post or all your links does anything to address what was claimed or what I have asked. This thread, again, is accusing the GOP of being a party that embraces ignorance. You respond to my asking how long and when did it start by saying "look what they are doing now" and leading off with some blog.
If I did not read so many posts by you guys on other threads I would honestly believe you were actors working for the OP to help prove his point.
