Physical pole shifts as you describe have never happened. Not once in the history of the Earth has this ever happened. A TPW, true polar wander, appears to have happened 800Ma. That took 15My to complete. That is what differentiates that event with what you are suggesting.

In your optics example you neglect to mention the important issue and that is the thumb is larger than the eye. The blocking object must be larger than the Earth and smaller than the Sun. These are the limits of your example. No matter where you place the block it has to be between those limits.

What I am trying to locate is a claim of 3 days, or is it 6, of darkness from some Guatemalan characters.

I believe that their story actually was written by someone like Lungold or Arguelles. Then they repeated the story and have possibly now claimed they are the source of the story and it comes from some arcana they have access to.

It seems alot of your posters here are going to be shocked when September 26, 27, or 28 rolls around.

How the hell could that ever be determined? Do you have any idea how foolish all this will sound 500 years from now? Just look back what they were saying in 1500.

It's statements like that that make me wonder if we are too far gone.

I do agree that there is a decent possibility we will in fact be rattled by some life changing event in the near future. Sept. 26,27,28 ?????
Only thing I do know for sure is that I will be less surprised than some and more prepared than others..

The events described in Revelations have yet to play out. Be prepared for the largest earthquake in documented history. Now whether that happens because of a pole shift, we will see....although after it happens it may take quite a while to pick up all the pieces and figure out what really caused it. Not that it will really matter at that point

THIS would be more than a mere SHTF scenario. Heck, even if very wee Anteres (compared to VY Canis Majoris were to come towards us, we'd be ... it'd be equivalent to hitting an atom with well.. the Earth.

It won't go away. The'll say it's hiding behind Venus or that it's a cloaked alien craft or some other nonsense. Being proved wrong will do nothing to deter the onslaught of unsubstantiated bunk.
