If Elenin was a dwarf star or the size of jupiter, we would end up getting dragged into space. This is after it would reek havoc on other planets in our solar system. Which there is evidence it hasnt done ANYTHINg (my g key is missing haha). Your worst case scenario, and only if these fear mongers are right, would be getting draged into space to die. Everything would freeze. Humanity and all other species would have no hope. Even if you had some bunker under ground to live in eventually you'd run out of resources, and perish. If Elenin was anything other than a comet you and I would be feeling the effects by now. Your fears are self fabricated by the ignorance of others who exploit the inability of some who don't under stand whats around them so they misconstrue what they see to fit their twisted thoughts that lead to end of days. Everyone for some reason is trying to figure out when we die. Not when we should live our lives and be happy.

Has anyone considered a volcano blast? If Elenin lines up and creates an earthquake so large that it erups this volcano... .

I am not fear mongering. NOT AT ALL. My personal belief (no proof) is that this world have still got a couple of million if not more years to go. However, I know something is coming. How do I know? Can't say. Not because I am bound by secrecy.

But, there is a guy on this site, started a post in June or was it July, saying that something truly big is coming Sept 26, 27, that the entire globe will be effected and that he cannot reveal his source but we are all invited to take a bet. He said something like: "it will take your breath away, and some may not recover their breath again." hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Hmmmmm, all this talk about Elenin or whatever its called only fired up fairly recently, but this guy knew something was coming since June/July???? That is what my train of thought was. Not world end and stuff.

When I was 13, many yearns ago, I had 3 visions. One of them was about rocks falling out the sky and people running in the night, screaming and getting killed. It was truly horrible. Please dont discuss your view on visions, I ask you respectfully, I am venturing out and risking sharing this. I have not shared this anywhere on the net and only with a few people in my life. Well, there goes that one out the window.... as now, it is shared here. I just hate people always rediculing anything that is slightly esoteric. This happens because man can think better than what they can feel and 'see', therefore anything that cannot be proven logically, is not real. I cannot prove love. But love sure is real. Ask anyone that is in it. Or has lost it.

If anyone asked me in July about end Sept I would have said it is just another date. But there is the Devon thing, the satelite, etc etc.

It doesn't necessarily have to be that huge to cause 3 days of darkness if its moving along in the same direction as the earth...

I've heard many people say # would happen on specific dates. Look at past examples. Recently you had that lunatic religious nut job who caused people to go crazy. You have had countless doomsday predictions from 2000 and on. This random post back in June/July didn;t give you anything to fear. The Elenin thing isn't that new. It has been getting doomsday predictions for a while now. Comets always do. I'm just saying, if it is our time to see something, get off the computer and live your life. Warning people wont do anything. I'm not going to harp on you for visions, but in all reality, have you ever had a dream and then it came true? If so I'd be very inclined to hear this experience and take a logical open minded approach to it. In the video posted for this thread it is clear as day the dude who made it doesn't have a clue. He is more interested in how the government is deceitful than wether or not he is capable of actually being able to comprehend what he sees in those images. If something does happen I'll be the first to recant and say you were right. The likely hood of that happening is pretty slim to none though.

ELENIN IS NOT GOING TO CAUSE 3 DAYS OF DARKNESS!!!!!!! In order to do that it in the position its orbit it will be in shortly the size of Elenin would be at least the size of a VERY LARGE MOON OR a PLANET! It is so much further out from us than the moon that its mass to block out the sun would need to be HUGE and it isnt!

Stop scaring yourself... you are going to feel dumb, really really dumb when you need to hide yo kids and hide yo wife because there is elenin on da loose.

1) Silly words? The bonehead thinks a star cluster is a defunct comet and insists upon it. He cannot do the slightest bit of astronomy to see what he might be looking at instead of Elenin. He is a bonehead.
2) Right. So I guess he won't stop posting. Surprise.
3) I am showing you a current image of the Beehive Cluster and an image of a year ago when it was also visible in STEREO B HI2. It's the same thing. It is not Elenin.
4) That is not showing what I show.

The only 'HUGE' thing around this part of the Galaxy right now is the growing mountain of pure silliness around a comet that may or may not even continue to exist with enough mass to earn that name anymore. Come on, there are definitely things to be aware of. That big ball of fire in the sky is becoming very active, for example.

Things like Asteroids and small comets are sometimes missed entirely until AFTER they have passed and headed back out. Given that, what is out there OTHER than Elenin? There is something to stay awake worrying about for those who feel the need. Elenin though?

What will it be after it's passed us? Somehow it's going to do a U-turn and come back since calamity doesn't occur the first time?

I wish they would find it and just nuke it. At least it would end the nonsense about this specific object. This is what it looks like when people invest everything...their rep, their career in some cases...everything in a theory and nothing happens, IMHO. It's real ugly to watch huh? I recall about the same thing after Y2k.

I think it's more likely that we'll have three days of incredible sale prices on all big screen TVs.

Were you alive in 1997 for Hale Bop? Do you remember how devastating and eerie that looked to us in the night sky? I was scared back then I must admit, I could see that bastard without my glasses even.

This Elenin is practically invisible to us, and Hale Bop was further away at 1.3 AU at it's closest approach to Earth. Do the basic math and see the difference and the fear mongering.

Hale Bopp was an event for sure and so far Elenin isn't even comparable by any extreme at all. I remember being able to see it from the jailyard at Glenhelen San Berdo. ( where you go in Glen and come out Helen ) Most of the dummys in jail, wouldn't have even noticed the damn thing, if I didn't point it out tro them. Then everyone started calling me Comet. Bunch of hoods.

Why do people assume 3 days of darkness means no sunlight?
Darkness even in our language stands for a few different things. I might be standing in a well lit room and say "I'm in the dark here!" "Oh, he's dark" ect.
So how many languages did these prophesies come down from that might also have more than one meaning?

Could 3 days of darkness mean that something major happens but no one talks about it for 3 days.....or....some really bad, messed up stuff just keeps happening for 3 days straight...or....who knows. Not me. I'm in the dark.

That is no comet, some of the pics i've seen it looks like a tetrahedron triangle. Craft maybe? I saw a video from another post talking about it slowing down. No comet is large enough to blot out the sun for 3 days. You can expect to see riots happening as people succumb to mass hysteria if there are 3 days of darkness and i'm pretty damn sure the governments of the world will be raising the alien invasion alert system (what we in the US call the FEMA alert system).

Man, i feel nuttier than squirrel turds even mentioning any of that. I'm gonna go get a shot or 2 of some jim beam, i can't even believe i said any of that stuff. I'm starting to feel like a conspiracy theorist for even listening to any of that bunk.

Very far away. The Beehive Cluster is 577 light years away. Unless Elenin was in exactly the same place last year it's the Beehive cluster we're looking at. Actually, it is the Beehive Cluster. The guy is just another youtube bonehead.

I know nothing of location or astronomy, to see whether the stars match to Cancer, but clearly the shape does match the Bee Hive Cluster pictures I looked at, is there a way to include the 4 large stars that are near them in a photo?
