Sarah Palin could be set to lose both her marriage and her political career after the release of the explosive biography on the Tea Party darling.

Uh-oh. Is it true? Could this really have happened? Would it confirm that the book has some facts straight?

The bombshell book is said to have put the final nail in the coffin of her marriage, after Sarah's brother Chuckie was quoted saying his sister and Todd's marriage was over.

'As a result she has been told by her advisers that it would be political suicide to announce a White House candidacy. The press and her opponents would have a field day digging into the dirty details of her background.'

Ahem. I for one am not hoping for that. I suppose as it is with all of these stories that none of us know to be true only time will tell if Todd divorces her. If he does, then I suppose this author will be vindicated, eh?

They were filing for divorce back in '09 too, but held off while Sarah wen on her tours and publicity stunts. Looks like Todd finally has had it with her.

Guess that closet full of skeletons is starting to take its toll.

I've always said that Palin was a falsehood right from the beginning.

Even at the GOP convention when she was announced as a VP candidate, John McCain had to check his paper first as he couldn't remember her name. You go back and watch the video of the announcement. He says "and the next Vice President of The United States" - Pause and look down to scan notes - "Sarah Palin"!

I've always said that the choice of Palin wasn't made by McCain, it was forced on him by someone else.

There are also several diffferent sources being published right now claiming that Todd and Sarah's marriage has "been a sham for years", and that her family life is much, much different when the cameras are turned off.

I've always considered Sarah Palin as the Tom Arnold of the political arena . . . no talent, kind of amusing sometimes and fun to watch in a admire-the-roadkill kinda way.

Her 'dream' was over more than four years ago when she became the sacrificial lamb in the Republican's we better lose this election because we don't want one of ours at the helm when it all goes to crap program.

If this author or good old Todd think they're the agent deraileur of her career . . . well lets just say there's a whole whack of people out there who have an increadible overestimation of their own importance.

Odd. Her divorce announced before Sept. 27th. I think that she'll get on her spaceship (Elenin) and fly back to the planet Indigo (with Michael Jackson) to pray to her god "Illuminatti".

Other than that? I'll believe it when I see it. This is obviously a cheap way to sell books.

Never underestimate the power of the political machines in this country when they set out to chew you up and spit you out.

She did one thing better than anyone ever could have... She was key in Obama winning the election.

Where did this "Tea Party darling" stuff come from? She wouldn't know a Tea Party from a bachelorette party.

Side note: I saw her in an interview on TV this morning, and she looks really physically worn out, worst I've ever seen her look. I have a feeling she's gonna call it quits here pretty soon.

So wait a second here...

Many people attributed Palin's popularity with her supporters as being the effect of liking the hot chic that they wanted to sleep with. Now that she would be divorced and therefore more available to indulge in such a fantasy, it is going to hurt her chances?

I think not. If anything, it would make her more attractive to those with the moral character to not persue fantasies about married women. Because now she would be single again. Just because a guy is a moral pig, doesn't make him any less of a pig.

If Palin only had a fightthesmears.com site and an army of MSM minions all would be well. Delegate the fight to someone else. Right??

No one has ever provided factual evidence that:

a) Todd had sex with a hooker, or with anyone else outside his marriage.

b) Sarah had an affair with Brad Hanson, or anyone else.

c) Track was a druggie who enlisted in the army to avoid a jail term. Or that he vandalized Wasilla school buses.

d) Willow was involved in the vandalism of the empty house in Meadow Lakes. Or that Sarah rushed back from Hawaii to put the lid on that.

e) Trig is not Sarah’s natural born child.

f) Bristol was promiscuous as a high schooler and drank and used drugs, or became pregnant again after Tripp’s birth.

Depends on the person, I guess. A number of women thought that they were going to get a diamond out of me. They usually gave up when they figured out that wasn't going to happen. So while they listed for what wasnt going to happen pretty heavy, reality sat in and they went their merry way eventually. In fact, rarely did I have to give the talk.

But if she played it right, letting people believe they had a shot, she could gain significant interest. And another point to consider, we have never had a president get married while in office. So that would a whole other media spectical for the MSN to salivate over should it all come to pass.
