Hi DamaSan,
just quoting part of your post so the image will show.
You know, when I saw that logo I thought: "OMG, that looks like a nuclear blast on the other side of the mountains!"
I mean, if it were the sun, why isn't it just perfectly hemispherical? Why have those "shaky" bits around it?
Okay, I know my observation is over the top and doubtless means nothing. But it was just my initial reaction.
You know how "9/11" gave a whole new level of underlying meaning to the well-known "911" emergency phone number? I was thinking that if my crazy (initial) notion had any basis then Operation Mountain Guardian would probably just become known as "OMG" and give a whole new level of meaning to that commonly-used term as well...

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Fort Carson officials say they are considering changing the name of the Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site to Fort Carson South.
Fort Carson spokeswoman Dee McNutt says the name change would make it clear that Pinon Canyon is closely linked to Fort Carson and its role in training soldiers.
According to the Pueblo Chieftain, opponents believe it's another attempt to expand the maneuver site.
The Army's efforts to expand Pinon Canyon since 2006 have stirred up far-reaching opposition across southeastern Colorado from ranchers opposed to the plans.
The Colorado Department of Transportation has conducted an extensive environmental study of needed improvements for all of I-70 in the mountains, but it produced an astronomical price tag of up to $20 billion for a full package of highway and rail enhancements for the corridor.

This may come as a shock to people struggling to sell their homes in the Denver area, as well as Realtors listing homes, but in May, homes on average sold faster in Denver than any place in the nation, according to an analysis of 146 metropolitan areas tracked by Realtor.com.
