When you look at the whole sky image there is only one readily apparent blacked out area (aside from the two curved dropouts), and that area is Elenin. It's almost as if they wanted people's attention to be drawn to that area...

Oh, there's another thread around here somewhere with someone claiming to have a picture of the area sans Black rectangle.
Looks like a big smiley face behind there...Smiley face of DOOM!

or you just want to be the 'smiley'
face in here?
thank you.

Well.. so far it looks like elenin (if it's elenin) is not disintegrated at all, by the way it looks pretty solid to me

I just checked the ephemeris for Elenin and your coordinates are not near Comet Elenin.

Your image is centered on 13h 35m 40s -8° 38' 7.2" but JPL's Small-Body Database Browser shows the following...

2011-Sep-18 00:00 * 12h 45m 24.07s -04° 27' 44.1"
2011-Sep-19 00:00 * 12h 43m 26.05s -04° 06' 30.3"
2011-Sep-20 00:00 * 12h 41m 05.88s -03° 42' 17.6"

...which is ~15 degrees away.

Do you still believe in what you get from JPL? Or at least elenin related...

today is the 20th ... the coordinates i used were from the 18th and they should still work...
because the google sky i was told is not in real time...
cheers

you cannot believe any of them these days... you just have to do your own research

good bless you.

Oh, by all means, share with us your ephemeris data. Be sure to include the orbital elements so that we can see how they differ from JPL's.

Oh, I checked with the International Astronomical Union Minor Planet Center ephemeris service and it corrolates to the JPL data.

"The Minor Planet Center (MPC) operates at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO), under the auspices of Division III of the International Astronomical Union (IAU). The Minor Planet Center derives its operating budget from a three-year NASA grant."

NASA moneys - NASA rules - I would think so.

I don't say it is all lies and that NASA is trying to cover-up or falsify their data ONT THIS particular subject of matter.

But I rather try to take it skeptical first. Why do we need to believe in NASA at first hand? Because they only one who is legit in space exploration and data mining? This other source mentioned in OP is not credible too.

It is a game. There are no other possibility to look deeper in space without NASA kinder-garden companies who feed their own truths. As long as there are no private funding observatories in various places here on earth in my opinion - we would never get the real data.

I'm not sure what you are smoking, but perhaps you should lay off it for a while.
I provided a link to a thread claiming to reveal whats behind your Black area.
Whether you think that's positive or negative it's a contribution nonetheless.
