Mysterious booming noises all across the world, sounds of explosions

I live in Southern Ohio, and we keep hearing what sounds like gunfire. One or two shots at a time. The ground here has shook a few times too. The sound sometimes sounds like something really heavy dropped to Earth. End of the World coming, perhaps?

As I was reading this, a large avocado fell of the tree over my house onto the roof and it made me jump! LLol

It sounds like the wind in the desert.

I heard some booms not too long and I posted on here. I have heard this three times in a month now. I have heard it just a few days a go again but tried to ignore it.

OK, reading these posts is like deja vu because I was outside about a week ago on a clear, sunny, cloudless day and heard a loud BOOM!!! myself, it sounded like an explosion in the distance and was so loud that I stopped what I was doing and stared in that direction expecting to see a mushroom cloud or at least smoke rising. Nothing. I've heard sonic booms and this wasn't like that, it was very loud and very "sharp". I watch the news every evening and there was no mention of anything, so I have no idea what it was. Strange that you guys describe pretty much the same thing. I'm in central TX by the way.

It sounds like wind through a tunnel, or like another poster said, wind in the desert. Was that an indoor or outdoor stadium?

that was tropicana field, it is a domed stadium, so NO wind.

It was an indoor stadium in Tampa,Fl. It's said that there was a problem with the speaker system in the stadium,because the dome was hit by lightning that night.Which to me would explain the 'wind through a tunnel' sound. I'll see if I can dig up a link..

I doubt the world is going to "end" the way people think it is. Humanity will experience some changes, and if you believe the bible we may lose 2/3's the earth population, but "we" will survive.

Humanity came close to biting the dust 250k years ago when a small asteroid/comet hit southern Canada and the population was thought to have dropped to 3000 worldwide, according to geologists and archeologists anyways.

I'm new to posting on ATS and I really don't know any other place to mention this...

I live in San Francisco, close to the downtown area. Over the past two weeks (and most recently about 4 hours ago) I heard and experienced a deep concussive sound immediately followed by a quick shake that only lasts a moment, but heavy enough to rattle my three story apartment building. It feels like a short burst earthquake, but they never show up on earthquake.usgs.gov.

In addition, though I'm not sure if it's related at all, there has been huge explosion sounds in the area, that I can only describe as maybe a transformer blowing, or a car bomb (obviously not) but they have happened in upwards of 10 times in the past few months.

I've looked around on the internet and could only find two threads on ATS talking about anything like this, and seemingly no one else in San Francisco.

I have been up late at night,around 3am till 7 am and I hear lightning that causes the ground below me to tremble (earth quakes) this may be what your experienceing? it is pretty exciting i love it.

Yeah, this stuff seems to be happening all over the place.

This one is the deep, reverberant rumbling sound that goes on for up to an hour in some reports

My sis said such a thing happened. She stated that it shook the trailer and rattled the windows. Get this, in Minnesota. Central MN at that. What it was, i may never know.

definitely theres more than one source.



but the fact that one of the sources now is ATOMIC/NUCLEAR FRACKING, takes the cake on the current state of what is going on behind the scenes and red tape of our very own government, its reasons and eventual calamitous end result.

I've heard these sounds myself over the past few weeks. Shook my house once. I love our Earth.

Has anyone taken the time to plot out on a map where these sounds are happening? I think it would be interesting if there was some sort of common thread (locations, time, moon phase etc) with these.

OK, I made a thread about one possible source for the sounds a while back but the thread did not got any where. I think it may need another look.

It is just possible that the sounds are coming from another time line or dimension. Funny as it may sound there are a lot crazier theories around.

Central Minnesota here , not too far from Minneapolis.

What i heard the other night when i went outside i can only compare to sonic booms. That is the loud cracking and ripping noise I heard.

Was pretty loud... I didn't see any craft, but to me the first thing i thought was craft sonic boom. I have not heard that noise in decades.
