Then I have no idea why you are trying to argue that he makes his movies out of the goodness of his heart, utilizing only the best business practices. His videos are lies and he profits from them. Why you are arguing that if you do not believe him is beyond me. The kicker is how cheaply made his "original" content is. I really admired all the Newtek Toaster wipes he used with his 300 dollar camera in his first 10 movies. He used the same equipment that I had sitting in my backroom gathering dust because it was so out of date I could not sell it for a buck. One of the things that lead me to Alex was his use of Amiga hardware and software. The problem is, years after that stuff was relegated to hobbyists and poor people that just wanted to have a little fun, Alex was still "producing" his films on the same crappy hardware. It becomes real clear when you hear his words and see OTHER PEOPLE's images all through his films and know what he uses to make them just how little he actually cares about people. I could have recreated any of his films in the late 90's for less than 500 bucks. Then I listen to the show and hear his fans "Alex, I just bought 10 copies of "X" to hand out to my friends because I want to support your good work."
Wow, just made 200 bucks back on one call. Almost half the production costs.

BTW, I have starred some of your posts in this thread because you have said things I do agree with. I am just not sure why you are trying to argue this point about his videos.
Fact: They are not copyrighted.
Fact: Much of the material is not original.
Fact: People BUY them.
Fact: He makes money off of them.

That is the only argument I was making.

Regarding "lightbulbs", I always thought he was referring to the whole "IBM, smarter planet" business, where in effect, not just lightbulbs, but your whole home electrical system is monitored for output (like they can tell how often you use your dryer and whatnot).

EDIT: Again, me and my post-scripts, sorry. I think it's not really any more troubling than facebook selling your likes/dislikes to advertisers or your phone knowing where you are when you take a picture with it..."not any more troubling" meaning, still very troubling, just on the same level.

How do lightbulbs spy on us? If I go to Wal-Mart and buy a box of lightbulbs and break them, will I find a camera in them? Do the lights have to be on?

Well if you watched it to the end you would see that they are developing the technology. they are not cameras, they transmit data and can be used for a wide variety of applications including intelligence gathering! So to get back to the point, Alex jones didn't lie about it. they do have the technology. It begins around the 5min mark in the video. Alex Jones didn't say they are selling lightbulbs that spy on you at wal-mart and if you break them a camera will be in it.

And to answer your question "do the light have to be on?" Well yes, only one light in the room needs to be active since one led bulb can transmit 1,000's of streams of data.

Then I am safe because I don't turn my lights on. The videos did not play for me so that is why I asked the questions. It made me remember when people used to say the secret government was watching us through our tv screen. My computer does not have a camera and it is not hooked up to audio so I guess I am safe in that regard. So now all they can do is see what I type here.

No, in fact my other posts was where I was trying to say he uses PayPal and his videos do cost money. I even used the link for the Moneybomb Marathon. I think we may have had a temporary miscommunication. No, I am not a fan of his and he uses very questionable practices to produce these videos.

Then consider it resolved. My pointing out how cost effective it would NOT be for him to even try to copyright his films is in no way a defense of the man. People think he is honest and doing good work because he does not copyright his films. I guarantee if he could and still profit, he would. He makes more than enough profit on them now so why go to all the trouble and expense to copyright crap he is already profiting from just fine. I think that is just such a pitiful defense of the man that he offers his crap for free.

You don't need to worry about that stuff (lightbulbs), the truth is that there is a grid in place. Everything and everyone is monitored now a day's. there are computer systems with advanced tracking software that monitor behaviors, trends, phone, internet, shopping habits, your network of friends and so on. If your a person of interest then they look deeper and check or uncheck if you will. Truth is if you can imagine it, so have they and they are probably working on it. There are an abundance of great people in government still so don't worry to much. Worry about the 20% which actions are questionable. We need good people of Conscience to replace the 20% bad apples. that will only happened when people expose what they are doing and alex jones is one of those people shining a spotlight on issues.

5 years ago KBR got a contract to build temporary detention centers. The contract was for one year with 4 possible extensions.
