I was considering possibly a acid flashback but my whole family was outside with me watching it..And I grow my own meds "legally" so that wasn't the issue either..

You ever hear or see a transformer blow up? because that's what it sounded like..It sounds like a bomb and when a transformer blows it shoots out a neon green/yellow flash in the sky. but I saw flashes of neon red, blue, yellow, green. It wasn't a mix of colors either. and numerous explosions that seemed to be higher than the clouds. I don't think a concert could pull this type of light show.

I have been across the street from a transformer blowing up and I've been around other types of explosions, However without footage, or other witnesses, or news reports, the most likely explanation could be an event echoing off the clouds or road work. An echo would explain why you could hear it, but no one in downtown could.

I personally know three other people I just talked to living around my town that saw and heard it too.. They said it looked like fireworks high in the sky past the clouds. But it couldn't be fireworks because Washington state has had a burn ban for almost three weeks now.. So I bull# you not.

People are still firing fireworks in Western Washington, even when there's a ban.
Where I live people in my neighborhood are still shooting them, almost every night (even last night) since the end of June. It has terrified my daughter and has frayed my nerves. We can't do anything about it because although we live on the edge of Tacoma, Tacoma's fireworks limit does not apply. to Pierce county. Pierce County doesn't have an end day for fireworks. I believe King county does.

It very well could've been fireworks you saw, however they might not be shooting them off tonight if they got busted last night.

You remind my of my brother, always got a explanation for every single little thing. Mortars do not shoot past the cloud line, it is impossible. Mortars only shot up to 1000 feet, this was at least twice as high. Can you explain that one? and you need a permit to shoot off fireworks in this state unless its new years or 4th of July.

OP your description reminds me alot of what occured in fort worth texas,

they said this too was transformers even though many witness stated the explosions where high in the air higher then a transformer,

plus just look at the video, some of the lights move around, do transformers have feet?

Exact same colors in the sky. Good find! This has to be what I saw for sure.. So these are transformers blowing up apparently huh??? That's hard to believe. I wonder what's going down in the northwest these days.
