Sign me up, i'd gladly love to live there hell and i'd even work for the government when i get my b.s in biomedical science, if it means living on the Moon...or even Mars.

You wouldn't. Even if you suspected who your customer was you would keep quiet about it or risk sounding like nutcase and losing future contracts.

*Heck, even if moonfolk were posting on ATS I don't think we'd know. They'd obviously route through a terrestrial connection, so that's all you'd see if you called the cyber police and ran a trace.

And as long as their communications were secure (quantum tech or gravity wave), well not even the government would know they are posting from der moon.

I would love to think we have the tech and know how to populate the moon. But we dont! its just common sense!


Look, I work for the space program and ill be the first to admit, I dont know everything however the mission I support is quite complex and involves multiple nations. We dont have the resources to make a moon base unless we seriously change out tune as far as funding the entire space program.


I work at the only US based precision tracking radar in the US inventory in the southern hemisphere. We still use tech form the 1960's for crying out loud!!! im lucky when we get upgrades based from the late 1990's!

I am also involved with the space fence project, turst me, no way we have been sneaking up material to build and maintain a moon base. Its just crazy to even go there! I wish I could tell you all otherwise, I truly do.


Both my parents worked on the Appolo and Shuttle program and I can tell you from what they say overall funding has gone down hill since the first Gulf war. Coupled that with our current cowboy mission in Iraq its easy to see how funding has been scarce. I do think with proper funding we could build a moon base and do it with great success however, our nation seems to be in a revisionist state of mind and that wont allow us to move forward.

I agree and from what I have read and heard, the NSA and CIA are always on site babysitting every aspect of intel and communications in all ranges for security reasons. I imagine there has to be some truth to that. To what extent I am not privileged to though so who really knows. I know that NASA has many relationships with private contractors who are equivalent and have a strong relationship with the USAF.

you are correct sir. Im telling you, we dont have the resources to support a fully operational moon base. We still use wire wrap technology for crying out loud! Look me up, I work on Ascensuon Island, we are placed perfectly fo any sort of moon base support mission.

Last night we supported the undocking of the current Soyuz capsule, object# 37382. this is as cool as it gets guys, sad to say.

Just because you personally have knowledge of the current technology our space agencies use. Does not mean that 100% there are no other technologies that you are not aware of that would allow us to build bases on the moon.

I pose this , do you really think that we as a species have made no further advances in technology since the 60's with space based technology , with all the money being stolen from the public and put to use in black budget programs , your telling me that the possibility doesnt exist ?

just because our public space programs dont , doesnt mean the top secret ones dont !

i think the only way to see the truth behind the supposed moon structures/69' moon landing
is to have another mission sent there independent from nasa

why dont we spend our time disscussing how we could find a way to do as much in the near future. Instead of making silly claims that are not based on facts. This is really like comic book material. As some one who works for the space program I wish the energy most of you spent making this stuff up was spent on trying to invent new tech to make our goals reachable and cheaper so we would reach the moon and maybe Mars.

ASC the Secret Government has the money ....don't kid yourself man. Many in mankind has worked side by side with Beings from elsewhere knowingly and sometimes not.

NASA are very clever chappies, of course they will leak a few things and certainly keep a few things, if not most, to themselves. There must be many ways that civilisations have existed on different planets, be it past or present. There are so many things that none of us could even conceivably imagine that are out there that we don't know about (RE: NASA).

I take this with a pinch of salt, but also with some enthusiasm that Earth is not the only planet with life. :@)
