For whatever it's worth, I'm in a conversation about it with Trevor Moore (from WKUK comedy "fame") and on Twitter and he told me that there are roads blocked off close to Arizona. A lot of talk about it zig-zagging as well.

National Weather Service meteorologist Curt Kaplan says the reported blue, green and orange flashes of light around 7:45 p.m. PDT Wednesday were almost certainly a meteor. Residents from Phoenix to Las Vegas to Southern California's coastal areas reported to local authorities and media outlets that they saw the light move quickly from west to east. Kaplan says there were no meteor showers reported Wednesday night, so the event was probably an isolated incident. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor confirmed that there were no aircraft incidents reported in the western region. From the first page. Really?

I saw it! About 8 pm local time in San Diego County.

I was driving home with my kids from soccer practice. Driving East on Washington street in El Cajon, Ca.

My daughter saw it first. It was to the South of us but headed East. She said "holy crap", then my son responded with the same! I immediately looked and saw a huge bright green fireball hauling ass due east! It seemed to be flying lower than a cessna plane.

When my daughter saw it, it was glowing red white tail.

When me and my son saw it, it was a huge green ball.

Greatest sight of a meteor I've ever seen in person!

It didn't just burn out like a standard meteor, it just kept on going.

It looked so low that it had already made it through the atmosphere and had to have made impact

Sure, just a meteor.... that guy is talking out of his ass, or maybe he just hasn't seen the video yet.

Meteors may change color, but they do not hover and move back and forth in the sky!

Great find, I think we are certainly dealing with TWO sightings tonight. 1) Meteor 2) Something else....

Incidentally, still seeing various people all over social media sites commenting about roads being blocked off by the military in Nevada near Arizona... What's going on?

I read the same about roads being blocked in Colorado.

Best video so far, more evidence that TWO events have occurred, multiple objects have been seen, witnesses include law enforcement aviators, and no one (including NASA/military) know what it was.

Waiting........waiting.......waiting for the first mindless zombie or "Phageophile" as I like to call them to call on their savior to come tell us everything is alright.

Damn, we were all busy inside eating dinner and watching Star Wars. Wish I had been outside and able to see it(whatever "it" was or is).
