That's a bit of a s-t-r-e-t-c-h to compare a website where you can report people who disagree with policy to polls.

The website is not to report people. There are no options to report people.

In theory, if you post something aboutObama, that I don't like, I can report you, ATS, and the entire thread.

BTW, I joined. And they immediately asked for a donation.

This is not something Obama, or you, are paying for. The link you gave is not Obama's official site. This is not being supported by Obama's campaign. This is a PAC site. It is a group of people who have no official affiliation with the administration, that run ads and provide people with information. You will notice this more often now. I started noticing it more when Colbert created his Super PAC.

And the campaign may or may not provide a link to 'their side of the story'... Ooooh! Scary!

What? A campaign asking for donations? The NERVE!

Get out of here with your truths! This is an Obama smear thread, don't you know? The truth is not welcome here.

Want to experiment? Mind if I report you? Hey mods, may I report someone for an experiment? To add, I won't without the permission of ATS.

I don't mind if you want to report me.
I don't know what "attack" I have made on the president, as I'm generally pretty supportive of him, but I certainly don't mind. Let us know what happens.

I would wager that this PAC (Obama For America) already knows about Benevolent Heretic and probably approves of my own efforts to fight the Obama smears over the past 4 years.

Oh hell, lady, I'll make something up! As long as ATS is on board with it, I'll do it. ( I don't want to poop where I eat)

This is what the site allows:

Your email *
Content of attack or link *
Attack type *
Attach

upload a photo or video

So, you're going to make up something. Let's say BH is saying that Obama is from Mexico. You're going to give your email, a description of the 'attack' - "BH of ATS said you're a Mexican" - (there is no link, so you can't put that). And you have nothing to attach.

How is this going to prove anything? You think they're going to send dark suits to my door?

What are people getting so worked up about? They just want to know what negative things people and the media are saying about the president so they have a chance to refute them. They aren't saying that people can't say bad things about the president, or that you'll be locked up if you do. I don't see anything wrong with it, at all. If a conservative had a similar website, I would feel the same way.

I do admit the website is a little amateurish looking however..

Yeah its not Obama's website or endorsed, well not directly by him. Otherwise it would have a .gov.

Then this must be a typo?:
www.barackobama.com...

It's got obama all over it.

I was trying to say it wasn't directly endorsed by him, but never mind! I was wrong it is the official website. Wow, I guess I couldn't fathom him pulling something like this when one of the criticisms is that hes a whiner.

Now I'm not sure if I should feel angry, or ashamed our POTUS would sink this low.

Is expressing my opinion that Obama is a lousy president a smear? Am I no longer allowed to dissent? I thought just a few short years ago that dissent was patriotic, but now it is a smear and an attack.

Is it a smear to say that he continued most of Bush's worst policies? How about the fact that his financial "plans" have only lined the pockets of his political allies while, quite literally, damaging the American credit rating and image throughout the world.

You forgot to mention: "racist"; he's half "black" you know.

He's especially sensitive to that.

Twitter @AttackWatch and #AttackWatch

Lots of LULZ.

Also

Washington Post Blog - Attack Watch, new Obama campaign site to "fight smears", becomes laughing stock of the Internet

On Twitter, where the Web site has an account to help Obama supporters submit evidence of “attacks” on the president using the hashtag #attackwatch, nearly every tweet about the site has ridiculed it.

“There's a new Twitter account making President Obama look like a creepy, authoritarian nutjob,” an Arizonan tweeted. “In less than 24 hours, Attack Watch has become the biggest campaign joke in modern history,”
