Yep blocked, I currently live in China and they block a lot of things but thank God not ATS! Thanks for the link, I had over looked it.

They don't block ATS??

What's the point of blocking anything at all??

This would be the main place you would want to block. Seriously.

Ooooooh, that make sense. China, land of internet censorship. I'm amazed you can even visit ATS. I guess the Chinese Gov't isn't aware of this site
Does the other link work for ya?

Sweet it did work! Woot!

You would think that but they don't. YouTube, Face Book, Twitter any and all blogs and sometimes CNN, BBC or other news sites.

The raw footage link the OP supplied worked fine and now that is one cool critter!

ceapthlapods really can shape # too - thier only " fixed " * structure is the beak - all the rest can assume any shape deseried [ within constraints of volume ]

so they can fit frough any hole that the beak will go though

* the eyes are fixed - but can elongate so that they are of smallar diameter than the beak

After watching those amazing videos (thank you!), it really makes me wonder about other animals/creatures that may or may not exist. Have they developed the same type of abilities, to help them remain hidden from us? Hhhmmm.....

Did you know owls can do it? Well...sort of.

Looks like that owl is mimicking a cat. I guess if you can't be bigger, then transform yourself to look like a predator of your enemy.

Awesome
I love octopus (not eating them!).
I saw a show once about octopus intelligence and was amazed at how smart they are... how they can use tools to protect themselves and they can mimic other creatures, and sign language...
Very cool

Some crazy thoughts there. People used to call that insanity. I love it.

Very nice.

Octopi(sp?) are the most incredible creatures in the ocean by far, imo. Right up there with whales and dolphins.

I'm always amazed at the stuff I see them doing in videos and the crazy array of offensive and defensive weaponry they tote around. Really marvels of nature.

Many species of Octopus can actually drop a leg in defense , just like many lizards drop their tails.

I wonder how many Research organizations around the world are researching these fascinating creatures to understand their abilities and possibly implement in the Military/Civilian technology?
