What a moving vid OP. Thanks for sharing this : It really clicked in my heart /made me leap in my spirit!
Jesus paid it all, all to him we owe....sin had left a crimson stain, but praise His Name, He washes white as snow! ...
The Christian life can be a struggle at times, for we want to live in the flesh oft...but thank God He will lose none that have been given him! Praise God!
Yes, we are bought with a price: We, Christians, are no longer our own ... and are to live for Him -not to gain our salvation but because He first loved us...and we HAVE salvation.

I fear that I may be wasting my time asking this question because you will claim that a question using the word 'beginning' is faulty.

Hmm...now why is this verse popping into my mind?
Mat 7:6 " Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, ....".

"There are many that have beams in their eyes, and yet do not consider it. They are under the guilt and dominion of very great sins, and yet are not aware of it, but justify themselves, as if they needed no repentance nor reformation; it is as strange that a man can be in such a sinful, miserable condition, and not be aware of it, as that a man should have a beam in his eye, and not consider it; but the god of this world so artfully blinds their minds, that notwithstanding, with great assurance, they say, We see." E-sword- Henry

Throw a pearl to a swine, and he will resent it, as if you threw a stone at him.

Edit to add: I forgot to say, well done Xplanet! S& F!

Amen.

Thank you for your encouragement, it means a lot!

HEB 10:24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Bless you.

And may He bless you, my bro. Remember His Word will not return unto Him void either. God will use you and your ''ministry'' so to speak to reach others on behalf of Him. He already has, whether you realize it our not. You are reaching others for Him!...and you have totally blessed my heart! in just who you are and in whom you stand - The Lord Jesus Christ! God the Son!

Glad to be of some encouragement to you... that's part of what being His disciple is all about.

and this too, how well I know that I need encouragement at times...-we ALLLL do. Yes, we are to encourage and edify one another in the faith!

Just so you know: You have also been an encouragement to me...and I am thankful to have met you in this forum. You are a blessing-a Godsend ! Oh and I added you as friend.

Bogomil, Arguing with a christian is a fools errand. Especially one who has a grasp on their faith, and has actually studied the manual. I speak from experience(Having been one). The only ex-christians I've ever met de-christianized themselves.

No offense intended XplanetX.

I am not offended at all, I receive any insult as a blessing. You should already be aware of this given that you were once a christian.

HEB 6:4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

I will pray for you, I hope that you have kept a place in your heart for God and you have not completely fallen away.

Thanks my friend...
I would like to add this :

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Rom 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Rom 12:4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

Rom 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

And how to be a good disciple is finding out what gifts of the Spirit you have been given...to be equipped for service..

Rom 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

Rom 12:7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

Rom 12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Rom 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

Rom 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Rom 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

Rom 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Rom 12:13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

Rom 12:14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

Rom 12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Rom 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Rom 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Rom 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written,

Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Rom 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

Rom 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

These are only SOME of the ways we can be a good disciple per the Lord Jesus. He tells us these things....
That's only a start, though there are many more things to be said here!

Again , bless you, bro. And thanks for the thread. I'd rather have Jesus than silver and gold. And His Wisdom than than greatest ruby....and I want to honor Him , am His disciple, because of what He has done for me - Sin had left a crimson stain, but He washed it white as snow. I know I could never pay him back ! , and don't have to, but I serve Him because He first loved me! etc.!! Thank God for His FREE gift of salvation!
