A few years ago I stumbled upon an article on "Indigo Children." During this period in my life I was learning more about myself, alas I was confused after some phenomina called a "super moon" happen I started to feel different, I could feel others emotions, but not only that I could read their emotions, I could tell them everything about themselves, every insecurity, every detail, in accuracy, just by looking into their eyes. To be honest I thought I was crazy and I was freeked out, for about a year later I thought I was a telepath, I hated it and wanted it to go away, I knew more than I wanted to and it was making life difficult for me. In November of 2010 I decided to revisit the indigo children topic and discoverd that the things I couldn't explain I finally had an answer to. This "thing" this ability hasn't gone away but i've learned to live with it, it's strange though it's like i'm a walking lie detector, no one can lie to my face, it's odd, sometimes I still question my sanity. However, my reassurance is i've found other people with the same abilities, and oddly enough we're all within 3 years apart. So, my question what is this "indigo trait" where does it come from, and why is it that it's not as rare as one may think. For any Empaths/ Indigos reading this, what is your knowledge on the topic. Frankly i'm still not sure on the subject, i've heard a lot of strange theories but i'm still open to accept other theories. Anyhow, thanks for your time.

Indigo children the only group more spoiled, snotty, and self centered than the baby boomers....

Personally I wouldn't want to be associated with a group that considers themselves special or better than everyone else by virtue of some imaginary indigoness.... But hey that's just me.

I think the whole indigo child mess is a bunch of self help gurus and etc telling some ego centric people exactly what they want to hear.

Indigo is the color at the top of the light spectrum and so these kids are thought to be a little more ascended. I think they are kids who are nurtured in a learning environment that allows freedom of expression. Other than that not any different physically or mentally than anyone else. It is cool to think so though.

Admittedly most people do have that moronic view about the whole thing, but what if you thought no more nor less for been an "Indigo child", i true indigo would have respect for others over everything else and a respect for life itself

Really? Since I've learned about the Indigo topic I've never come across this "snobby" problem that you claim Indigos possess. What I have seen a lot of is comments like yours, clearly not a fan of this idea while attacking it. It's sad you got as many stars as you have.

From what I've seen most people that call themselves indigo children seem to espouse some of the worst values our modern culture could pass on to children. Having grown up with a malignantly narcissistic mother raising me I'm very sensitive to that sort of vibe, and honestly most so called indigo's give it off in spades.

If you are not one of them well then this message really isn't targeted towards you. However since it got such a strong reaction.... well self examination never hurt anyone.

I must say though getting attacked straight out of the gate for posting my views certainly has made me feel a certain level of vindication. Generally speaking people get angry when someone posts something that hits a little too close to home. If my assertions weren't true at all at best It would have gotten a laugh or maybe even some supplemental literature to help "correct the errors in my thinking". Instead I was attacked and basically told "I know you are but what am I?

Personally I wouldn't label myself. A lot of people can read people like you are saying. Nothing spectacular about it. Nothing magic. If you are an introspective personality it is pretty easy to read others. Most people practically blare their flaws and insecurities to the world. You just have good perception and are able to take multiple perspectives. It's a personality trait and brain wiring that allows you to do it. I can do that too. Sometimes I have to REALLY bite my tongue...ok all the time. You are normal at least one type of many types of normal. I don't see myself as Ascended Blue or any of that. I have just spent all my life 35 years now being a introvert and studying human behavior and action vs reaction. Now I can pretty much guess what someone will do before they even know they will do it. It is much fun!

How is it moronic to believe that all people are equal?

Indigo children are not better than anybody else.

I'm sorry, I didn't see a ♣ put at the end of your message like you usually do with everything else, so I might have missed your implication.

I've yet to see what completely defines an Indigo child since most arguments I see people using to define themselves can be put down to the Forer effect.

I believe you misunderstood, I don't believe i'm better, more special, or smarter than anyone else. No one else i've talked to feels that way. I believe you are terribly misinformed friend, i'm just one of many seeking answers, so i'm sorry if I offended you in any way nut no need to be so defensive.

when i was young it was MGM, mentally gifted minors. 20 years ago it was Indigo children....today it is monarch children....tomorrow it will be star kids or some other name / label / category people will create.

The only people worth a damn in any society are those that help their elders, the less fortunate, visit those incarcerated and bring food and beverage to those that cannot leave their house, care for the infirmed, generally assist those in need. Be a contributing member of society.

Get out and volunteer at your local shelter. Buy an extra can of food and drop it off for the homeless and hungry once a week. Go through old clothes and donate them and any other goods you don't need, or would make another person's life much easier. This is far greater than being indigo, or star child, or monarch or ( fill in the _______ ).

This is being part of the Divine.

?? Monarch children are victims of trauma induced mind control..really don't think they fall into this catagory.

It is because our soul reflects in our eyes. When we feel sad it reflects on the eyes.
I can tell how people feel or are just by looking into their eyes but im not an Indigo.
We have a soul too and can read how other peoples' souls are.
