Oh dear - Drag shows banned from Pride event because they might offend transgender women.
To me drag is all about a temporary illusion and a performed subversion of the gender code, that is often camp and exaggerated.
It's an art and a genre of its own, and different to transgender women.
It would be sad if such prohibitions become the norm at Pride events.

I saw this and it truly Upset me.. those are the kind of people that don't want to be associated with the GLBtQ+ community because they don't the Transgender label, but complain that the GLTBQ+ community doesn't fight for their rights
