No. I will not cut a show that claims that the ancient Israelis and Babylonians were given nuclear weapons by aliens to defend themselves any slack. This show is moronic, and the number of people who whole heartedly believe it is a sad testament to what has become of critical thinking in our time.

if anything, the people who dislike the show should at least respect the fact that it is awakening a lot of people.

all around my area, people are catching on to ancient aliens and actually broadening their thoughts of the world. this is evident to me because i have many friends who brush off aliens and UFO's as fairy tale rubbish, who would normally throw the entire idea in the trash. however, more and more of my friends and even their friends are tuning in weekly or subscribing to netflix for the sole purpose of watching ancient aliens.

so if nothing else, at least give the show kudo's for sparking thought and imagination in to the more conservative minds.

Awakening them to what? It's completely stupid. There is nothing enlightening about it. There is an old saying - It's good to have an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out.

A mind so open that your brain falls out is better than a mind so closed that nothing gets in.

Just my opinion.

No, it isn't. Someone with a mind so open their brain falls out can be easily manipulated. Someone with a mind rigid and close is stubborn, and not easily manipulated, though they are less open to innovation and ingenuity.

Point is, ancient aliens is BUNK. Pure, 100 percent bunk.

Isn't this the guy that was in the movie "BARBARELLA" and he and Barbarella took a sex pill and they pressed their palms together and that's how he wound up with this hair?

This guy (Giorgio A. Tsoukalos) is representative of what's wrong with one of the worst shows on TV especially under the auspices of the "History" channel. Him and Erich Von Däniken, George Noory, Nick Pope, Peter Fiebag, Steven M. Greer, and possibly the worst of them all David Hatcher Childress. They are all jerks doing nothing but speculating using pure bs to do so. Not one of them offers anything substantial. From 0 to 10, they earn a -0.

hey, thanks for straightening all of us out.

we would have been flailing around like so many thalidomide babies on crack if you hadn't shown up.

Personally, I'd like to believe that most skeptics here wouldn't choose that particular simile to describe the mouthbreathers that buy into Giorgio's line of crap.

But if you choose to see yourself that way, well...

So why not let those "mindless" people enjoy or believe it? There's the old saying also that says "To each their own." why criticize them? As I said before if nothing else do you not get any entertainment value out of it? If it's that much of a waste of time and garbage then pay no "mind" to it. Regardless, it has some very interesting places and objects/artifacts in it that people would have never seen (whether they believe what's said or not) because of watching it.

Because our whole civilization is merely the sum of us all - if stupidity is allowed to run rampant without being confronted, it spreads like a virus and can harm us all.

We all have our own opinions. I'm not saying anyone is wrong, right, stupid, genius, or anything at all for that matter. I was just merely stating that to some AA is a belief and to others it's simply scifi. Why not leave it at that? Or you could get a hold of George Lucas and tell him to recall Star Wars because people think we'll do that one day. So if some people are "stupid" for believing AA has some form of facts or just simple entertainment value, let them. I'm sure it's not going to make this earth implode/explode.

Star wars never claimed itself to be real - as to the lethality of stupidity:

In 2000, the US was a prosperous nation with an economic surplus in the middle of an economic boon - then a stupid man became president. 8 years later, it is a nation mired in war, the surplus gone, it's economy in shambles, with real questions about the long term stability of it's currency.

Stupidity- yes, it's dangerous.

I never said SW claimed it was real. I said there are people that thought it would become a reality. Also those decisions weren't made by one man. You realize bills and laws go through groups of "stupid people". I'm pretty sure they weren't slow of mind or lacking in feeling or sensation, I can say they were acting in an unintelligent or careless manner. But I'm sure they didn't see it that way. This has gotten way off topic so unless someone from AA becomes the POTUS why go trolling just to bash others?
