So I'm sitting here watching the news before the game ... and this is what's going on:

1. Presidential speech
2. Ambiguous terror alert
3. Massive power outage in SoCal
4. Massive flooding on the East coast
5. NFL opening night
6. 4 tropical active systems
7. Massive wildfires in Texas
8. Markets in high volatility
9. Europe in sovereign debt crisis
10. 9/11 tenth year anniversary

I am usually the last person to be prone to hysteria and/or hyperbole, and I'm not even suggesting that this isn't just the typical thursday ... but what grabbed my interest is that there's seldom this amount of apparent events waived before the public. Usually fear marketing is more precisely targeted and more judiciously dispersed.

Yet here we are with a strobe light of events before our eyes ...



So I'm wondering ... is this something or is this nothing?

EDIT: On nine-eleven it was a beautiful day. Not a lot going on. I recall seeing a news broadcaster somewhere saying it was too quiet... I can't find the video but apparently I'm not the only one who remembers seeing this.

BTW, I forgot to mention that when you listen to the CBS show, it's definitely interesting to hear the guy talking about the show that's going on 'American Airlines', and then says that it's such a beautiful day, and says 'it's kind of quiet around the country, we like quiet, it's too quiet'...

I have been feeling a little itchy lately also. I picture it as a buzz floating around in the air.

I think this ambiguous terror threat if it turns out to be just a muscle-flexing, keeping people on their toes exercise, has to be one of the most crass poorly time, and frankly offensive things I have heard in quite a long time.

10th anniversary of 9/11 and they couldn't even let it pass.. ONE DAY.. without bleating a dubious sounding alarm call about terrorism.

Im sure if you go back in time you will have had just as many events , maybe more maybe less perhaps, but events none the less. To answer your question no, there is nothing there. No correlation to anything, just life

I am on the east coast and there has been a lot more helicopter activity going on? The US president going to a bunker? 6-7ton satellite falling onto us? A "no fly zone" on the moon? who knows what is going on

ps.also this is upcoming events

this just means we are getting our weekly disasters done with all at once, the weekend will be a breeze. maybe im just optimistic

It's funny cause so much stuff is happening that I forgot about those two ... and I live five blocks away from the cathedral and I actually heard the crane collapse. I guess this means I'm being effectively distracted ... I just need someone to tell me how much to pay to feel safer.
