Yes! Newt hit that one out of the park! He's right, the press will try every chance they can to try and take the heat off their boss obama and try and get the republicans to fight within their ranks, I hope they take Newts words to heart and keep the pressure on obama.
Rick Perry looks like best so far.

Were you watching the debate? Perry got called out and shown to be a liar if you ask me. If anything, his support will drop after that slap of reality. Just my opinion.
I will admit that Perry got most of the air time and it seemed that he was mentioned even in questions to other candidates. He was also allowed to squirm out of answering questions and lobbed softballs he had prepared answers for. That doesn't say to me that he "looks like the best", it says to me, that is who the media wants to win and they will do whatever they can to push him along.
From what I saw, it seemed as if MSNBC was trying to hand the debate to Perry. I would assume they are doing that because they know he has no chance of beating Obama. Think about it, Obama won running against a George Bush who wasn't even in the race. If Perry somehow got the nomination, it would be Obama getting to run against the ghost of George Bush again. Sounds like a recipe for failure to me, but yea, back on topic,
I thought Newt came out of it looking pretty good as well. He tends to change his position like other people change socks but I always respect his ability to make ridiculous people look stupid.

Yes I did. I saw a lot of candidates getting applause, is that what you are basing Perry's win on? Seems like you are grasping at straws. Are you saying that the other candidates aren't for the death penalty? Is the death penalty going to be the big issue that Americans decide who they are going to vote for on?
Did you notice that despite Romney and Perry having less than half the poll votes Paul has their lines in the bar graph are nearly as big?
Does that not prove my point that the MSNBC wants Perry or Romney to win?
Here is the link again. firstread.msnbc.msn.com...
look at the number of votes and compare that to the size of the lines for each of the top three.
Can't you see that MSNBC is biased?
