It looks like Newt won the battle but Rick Perry won the war.
------------
Rick Perry looks like the best so far.

-------------
They all did well but they can't all be president. We have to pick one.
------
BTW, that's a great Reagan Library!

How did they get that airplane in there?

Yes I watched the debate. The best looking part, to me, was the commercials. I can't stand to hear those #hole, stupid, ignorant, lying scum run their sucks. They are all blatant liars and anyone that falls for it belongs in a FEMA camp. Ron Paul did alright the 6 or so times he was allowed to talk.

It's no wonder you think Rick Perry is the best candidate.

If you do not know how they got the airplane into the building, maybe you shouldn't be voting?

Yes! Newt hit that one out of the park! He's right, the press will try every chance they can to try and take the heat off their boss obama and try and get the republicans to fight within their ranks, I hope they take Newts words to heart and keep the pressure on obama.

Play it on Greta Van Susteren......!!! Play it on the Five !
NBC will duck their heads every time it runs!

Rick Perry looks like best so far.

Were you watching the debate? Perry got called out and shown to be a liar if you ask me. If anything, his support will drop after that slap of reality. Just my opinion.

I will admit that Perry got most of the air time and it seemed that he was mentioned even in questions to other candidates. He was also allowed to squirm out of answering questions and lobbed softballs he had prepared answers for. That doesn't say to me that he "looks like the best", it says to me, that is who the media wants to win and they will do whatever they can to push him along.

From what I saw, it seemed as if MSNBC was trying to hand the debate to Perry. I would assume they are doing that because they know he has no chance of beating Obama. Think about it, Obama won running against a George Bush who wasn't even in the race. If Perry somehow got the nomination, it would be Obama getting to run against the ghost of George Bush again. Sounds like a recipe for failure to me, but yea, back on topic,

I thought Newt came out of it looking pretty good as well. He tends to change his position like other people change socks but I always respect his ability to make ridiculous people look stupid.

ETA: Anyhow, if you think Perry won, it would seem you are in the minority, according to MSNBC, who conducted the debate and this poll I link to, Perry came in 3rd despite his"front runner" status with the media.

Consider the source. An MSNBC poll?!
I'll take that with a block of salt.

Let's wait for realclearpolitics to give us the big picture.

Rick Perry took shots from all around but he came out on top.
He looked very presidential.
Did you see the applause he got when he defended the death penalty in Texas?

---------
The NBC guy was beside himself.

Your right, the press is trying to get the people behind Perry instead of someone who would/ could really give obama a serious fight. The press is 100% behind and in the pocket of obama and they'll do what ever they can to give him the easiest ride to reelection just like they did when they got him elected.

Yes I did. I saw a lot of candidates getting applause, is that what you are basing Perry's win on? Seems like you are grasping at straws. Are you saying that the other candidates aren't for the death penalty? Is the death penalty going to be the big issue that Americans decide who they are going to vote for on?

Did you notice that despite Romney and Perry having less than half the poll votes of Ron Paul, their lines in the bar graph are nearly as big? Can you say media manipulation?

Does that not prove my point that the MSNBC wants Perry or Romney to win?

Here is the link again. firstread.msnbc.msn.com...

look at the number of votes and compare that to the size of the lines for each of the top three.

Did you read my text you quoted? I will quote it again

a George Bush who wasn't even in the race.

Duh? of course he ran against McCain. Are you that dense? Obama won because people did not want another George Bush, Obama ran and won against the ghost of George Bush and Bush's presidency. McCain never had a chance. If you ask a Obama supporter why they voted for Obama it will not be because they hate McCain it will be because they hated Bush. That is what I said.

I really don't see ANY republicans going to MSNBC to vote in a poll.
When the debate was over they switched to Fox News.
---------
Go to realclearpolitics and rasmussen reports for an honest poll.

Can't you see that MSNBC is biased?
I mean come on. Wake up.

Have you even bothered to read what I wrote? I just told you that MSNBC was biased and showed you proof that MSNBC was biased, then you come back at me and actually say

Can't you see that MSNBC is biased?

YES! I just told you that. Please read my post!

What you can't see is that MSNBC is showing bias to Rick Perry and Mitt Romney. That is the evidence I have submitted to you. MSNBC is biased toward Rick Perry. They want Rick Perry to win. Does this not bother you? Whatever, I tried. You can lead a horse to water....

ETA: you assume republicans won't go to the MSNBC site to vote? that is a stretch. Would you also assume the republicans don't tune into MSNBC to watch the debate? And finally lets assume you are right, republicans didn't vote in the poll, doesn't that show that Ron Paul is the front runner because he will take liberal votes from Obama and be the most capable of winning a election?

And what pre-tell is a unbiased honest poll? Is it sampling those individuals who have a "land-line" telephone? Is it asking people on the streets? Is it asking the same person again and again what their thoughts are? Is it asking weighted questions?

I've never been polled by realclearpolitics or rasmussen before, have you?
