Coincidence?

There is no such thing as coincidence, it is just a word that we apply to things of which we have no knowledge of. So I would have to say that there is a design behind his going there.

I think I'll wait until I see a few more big name people heading for Denver, before I consider this anything other than a coincidence.

This is one of the stupidiest things said on this site, and it comes up in nearly every thread. A coincidence is simply a group of events that coincide, or happen together. It does not imply any causal relationship, nor does it rule it out. If something is just a coincidence it means the events only happened at the same time with no other relationship. If something is more than a coincidence it means the events have a causal or other relationsship, but they are also still coincidents because they coincide.
Coincidences are a real thing. Choosing to repeat this as your mantra doesn't change that. To say there is no such thing as coincidences is to say no two events ever happen at the same time, which is completely crazy. But even if you had meant to say "There's no such thing as just a coincidence" you are still poorly informed.
My uncle had a small heart attack last week. On that same day we had breakfast for dinner, and the company I worked for laid some people off. How else would you explain the relationship between these events, as anything other than simply happening to coincide? Is there obviously a design behind this because coincidences dont exist, or are you just spouting off illogical drivel to try to back up the irrational conclusions you've prematurely jumped to?

Exactly, Arthur C. Clarke left clues all over his books as to the arrival of Elenin.
Something wonderful this way comes.

No. He wasn't a prophet.
And Elenin is nothing more than a small comet.
