Welcome to the club..well, the daytime chillout club

I will give you some classics that you may like given your selection:

Groovejet Feat Sophie Ellis Bextor

Sophie Ellis Bextor did other similar sounds also..such as murder on the dancefloor and such sort of a throwback to the 70s disco era (popular for a switchup in a club...daytime beats)

Paul Oakenfold

Paul does plenty of interesting and somewhat chilled out beats, its a good bridge between proper trance and chillout. This song is a must have in my opinion..This is my more favorite renditions of it (with Gabriel and Dresden mixing it and drawing it out for more...epicness)

Ibiza Chillout

Basically the "Ibiza Chillout" series has been going on for years and years, each one being really good in their own right. good beach tanning music, or just long windy road drive kinda thing..youtube them and you will have a billion hours to listen to.

VNV Nation

Granted, a bit away from the trance/house, but you may quite like this overall given your tastes. vnv nation has some very interesting songs and quite often people whom love house also love them due to their awesomeness.
Good for those nights of wanting to feel horrible and lovesick. lol. ok, so its moody and emo, but in a good way.



Well, enjoy. I quite like the calm and chilled music that electronica/house brings...of course, nothing equals the true purpose of house...which is of course to kick in the adreneline and make you want to dance without reservation...

(or kill a bunch of vampires in some blood soaked nightclub)

DI.FM is where i usually listen to Armin Van Buuren's "A state of trance" it really great site for trance radio shows. It's for free, and the quality of the sound is great even though you can get a premium subscription to the site for high quality streaming.

Everyone just seems to be into some minimal bullcrap these days. No groove, no smooth vocals just endless 4/4 thunk.

I blame "breakbeat" for that.
its like techno for the adhd. see how chaotic you can make sounds and voila...bah!
