Your point is all fine and good, until you realize that A) the franchise owners (citizens of America) are so divided, hateful and ignorant that they're running around telling all of the employees to do completely contradictory things. The manager can't manage, I don't blame him for taking a vacay! B) Obama isn't the 'manager' of the country. I understand what you're getting at, but in this case there'd be three shift managers, all vying for the same position. Doesn't work too well.

OP you made some good points, but times are a changing as we can quite possibly be seeing the demise of the U.S. and it is on this POTUS's watch. He will get the blame even though it really does need to get spread out.

As for the earlier reply that said he inherited this mess...he. did. not!

He ran for the position, supposedly knowing what he was getting into. He has made some pretty poor choices for his cabinet and advisors. We are seeing what happens when you try to run a country based on untested theories and ideas. I feel that our government is in the hands of amateurs.

I think that we really need to clean house in 2012...on all sides.

Well, if they don't blame Obama, they have to face what idiots they were for voting for GW, and continuing to support a free market strategy, because at the end of the day, it was foolish attempts to put a free market type economy into play that wrecked our economy.

Like communism, Mises people ignore how criminal, lazy, and inventive people can be when it comes to cheating a system. The market system can not police white collar crime, and everyone who buys into this nonsense has way too much real estate in the land of denial.

My reasons for not liking him AT ALL are as follows:

The WAR against Libya according to the Constitution must in fact receive Congressional approval. Which you did not have. And which you violated blatantly. But hey.. since you got a UN resolution and they clearly have authority over the U.S. I guess it's all good.

But wait! There's more!!

Mr. President, that is a lovely Peace Prize you received before even getting into office or doing a single thing! What's that, you want to bomb four sovereign nations and kill innocent people? Well, who will argue with a Peace Prize recipient? Shucks!

Hmm, well then there is that Healthcare Bill you literally shoved down our throats despite 72% of the nation saying NO and several states writing legislation calling it UNCONSTITUTIONAL. That really made the deficit a much higher number! Sir, you do realize that is an awful thing, right? You don't get to blame anyone for that.

So, OP - I like the part where you said you support Ron Paul. But Obama gets credit for the mess despite his many attempts to hand it away. I won't blame the overall deficit on him. Nor the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. I will blame him for continuing them. I will blame him for adding 4 more wars to the policing of the world. I'll blame him for being a complete POS for going on vacations while millions of Americans are struggling to feed their children. Not to mention the billions in foreign aid he continues to hand out despite us being completely broke. Yes, for those things, he receives all the credit... or the blame.

I do agree with you here. I think he could have picked batter folks, and a lot of his theories are wholly idealistic. The point of this thread is not to excuse him, just to point out that solely Barack Hussein Obama is not completely responsible for the mess we're in. Sure, he's not the best, but for God's sake, lay some blame on others for a change!

Okay, another thing I'm hearing here - four new wars? Where, exactly? Supporting NATO actions in Libya and Syria was not a good idea, agreed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but - I wouldn't call these 'wars' by any stretch - is there an exclusive US occupation going on? I don't think so. And where else are we engaged that I haven't heard about?

It's hilarious, you first say that Obama is acting like a dictator, then you say he's not doing enough, and he should create jobs.. It's not his job to create jobs. You're asking him to use real dictatorial powers.
Republicans criticized Obama for weeks before he attacked Libya, and as soon as he did it, they jumped on his case. You can see them doing the same thing now with Syria.
And your only complaint about Obamacare is that it has Obama in the name. Obamacare makes sure people with pre-existing conditions don't get screwed over by the health insurance companies. And it also lowers the price for everyone. So everyone has to have health insurance...where were you people when mandatory car insurance was enacted?

I hate to break it to you, Obama isn't trying to take away your guns so he can install socialism..despite what your masters(Fox News and the corporations) tell you.

It's hilarious, on a site where you should be questioning the system...there are so many people who fall for the system, hook line and sinker. The system right now is designed to make Obama a scapegoat.

It would be his fault if it wasn't for:

1. Bush
2. The weather
3. The Japanese Tsunami
4. The Arab spring
5. The tea party
6. The republicans
7. European economies
8. Greece in particular
9. Tax increase failures
10. The 2010 elections

If it weren't for that, it would be his fault. It would have been because he's never run or owed a business. He's never been a leader such as even the mayor of a small town. He's not done or accomplished much of anything. If it just wasn't because of everything and everybody else.
