So, according to your theory, if "The Blair Witch Project" hadn't had deceptive advertising, it never would've made it to the theaters unless a larger company bought it and produced it because it was low budget?

You are comparing apples to oranges.

And so are you.
You can't compare a movie with a TV show based upon archeology.
I was at least comparing two low budget movies.

Fine then...

Go look up the movie "The Forth Kind"

Based on Sumerian ancient aliens...

The people who produced it ran a viral marketing campaign (Even editing wikipedia....)

Still released! In theaters too. Actually had people who could sorta act in it as well... Go figure.

The very first thing the movie does is discredit the Bible and make G_d sound as though he/it is more than one being.

I would bet that if Ancient Aliens began each of its episodes by countering the Bible's teachings, it would not have gone as far as it has. Plus, I don't see ads for Ancient Aliens on local channels. This movie would've had its ads on local channels, which would have reached more viewers. Anyone who saw the ads would have been struck with curiosity as to why this movie was countering the teachings of the Bible. Most main stream religions want people to believe that ONE god created everything, including us. "How is it that humans could've been created in the image of more than one being?" they would ask.
TPTB like us to be confused, but not to this extent.

are you even remotely familiar with Sumerian Text........Changed the way I view creation for sure, and God and a bunch of things...like the truth

It's not about the actors that have anything to do with the Vatican's involvement.
I see I wasn't clear. What I wanted to say is the Vatican surely wouldn't bother with a movie that looked like it had none of the ingredients to make it noticeable, a film in which they show only 11 names (and one of those appears as actress and as crew) is most likely to be a flop, and I don't think that either the Vatican or any other organisation will go to the trouble of shutting down all things that may be interpreted in a way they don't like.

It has to do with the fact that the movie is based upon the one quote from the Bible that makes G_d seem as though he's got DID or MPD. Please watch the ABOUT THE MOVIE part I directed to above. I'm sure this would've been shown on TV and in the previews in theaters.
I watched it, today and when it appeared, some years ago.

The Vatican would not have wanted the majority of the public being pointed towards the Bible verse and wondering why G_d spoke about himself as though he is more than one being. What would the Pope have said? He meant that we were created in the image of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost? How else would they have explained the use of the word "our" in Biblical text?
What has the Vatican said all these hundreds or years, as far as I understand it, the Bible does say that, so what's the problem?

Yes, thank you, I am familiar with Sumerian text. I'm glad it started making you question your religious teachings. I started questioning what i was being taught during my 10th grade Sunday school classes.

You missed the point I was making about Ancient Aliens. I was meaning that the show uses scientific and archeological artifacts to demonstrate why and how aliens have contributed to ancient civilizations.

If people watch the show and start to compare it with their religious teachings, as you did, that's on them. The show is not directly pointing to the Bible and making direct references that counter what you're told in church or otherwise.

Anyways, it's my opinion that the movie was bounced because of its reference to the Bible and G_d's multiple personality disorder. Nobody here is going to change my mind. All of you can believe that it was sunk because of its unknown cast and/or no funding. That's your opinion and I'll respect that. Many movies are shelved because of lack of funding. The Disney movie The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp just got put on hold because of lack of funding. I was just presenting a different view. I wasn't meaning to tick anyone off because I was taking an outside-of-the-box idea/approach to explain why this movie never made it to the theater.

Have a great evening, everyone.

Thats a good one....S&F no matter if the film is shelved for money reasons or other reasons.....it makes a darn good conspiracy.

The sci-fi movie climate is booming if you just look at the amount of sci-fi alien invasion movies that is being released nowadays. So why not release this trilogy....

The special effects technology is developing very fast and the quality of such effects are a significant factor in the succes of such a genre movie....although there is always the exception.

If the movie will be shelved too long he will risk an entire re-make. So if the movie does excist it should come out very soon I suspect. On the other hand it could well be a conspiracy and is the public kept from the possible truth of our origine....

My first thought would go out to the catholic church to be the one preventing this story/knowledge to awaken the unaware people. They have a history using their infuence and power to keep sensitive knowledge for themselves.

Because I strongly belief that the leader(s) of the catholic church have the same agenda as some of most powerfull political leaders and captains of industry it can well be that they with combined forces keep such knowledge from the public.....to keep the element of surprise on their side...so to speak.

Some of the special effects shown in those short cuts reminded me somehow of cropcircles....Is there a connection between Anunnaki and cropcircles anyway...?

Maybe this director was commisioned to make this film by tptb...you know....to condition us for the surprise waiting in the (near) future. Maybe it was considered too thick and scrapped....

A lot of maybe's....that is all I can make of it....sweet conspiracy and find tho....S&F

What??

You Clearly don't watch any British movies or British shows then....

Probably budget cuts, considering the funding necessary for such fiction.

To bad Indiana Jones 4 could have been a better story dealing with aliens if they would have used something on this instead of the crystal skulls.

I remember this website..

and I believe they planned to make it..

However Im betting it just fell through and never got any real funding. There's plenty work of fiction out there that has similar plots. Why did those get released?

the whole nibiru/annunaki thing stems from zecharia sitchin, who was full of #e. just sayin'.

Well, I really don't think it will have anything to say more than what we all already know about the Anunnaki. You know, the Zachria Stichin stuff which is mentioned in details in David Icke's The Biggest Secret.

This also appears in the first page of Google search:

www.disclose.tv...

Is this another movie taking advantage of the popularity or 1Anunnaki?

I'm not trying to convince you of anything, I just wanted to know why do you say that the Vatican would object to something that is written on the Bible to the point of intervening to suppress a movie.

I don't think anyone is saying that the movie sunk because of the unknown cast, the unknown cast makes it less of a target to the any hypothetical large organisation trying to suppress that type of information.

Have a great evening, everyone.
Thanks, the same to you.

Unfortunately, the current myths about the Sumerian and Anunnaki come from a fictional source. "The Necronomicon" ("Simon Necronomicon") was a fictional pagan grimoire that was written in 1977. It was a demonic and supernatural twist on Sumerian mythology and culture.

If I remember my mythology correctly...

The Elder & Good Gods:
~ Nanna
~ Ninurta
~ Nebo
~ Marduk
~ Inanna or Ishtar
~ Nergal
~ Shammash

The Ancient Ones & Evil Gods:
~ The Seven Maskim
~ Tiamat
~ Abzu
~ Pazuzu
~ Kingu
~ Humwawa
~ Kutulu
~ Azag-Thoth
~ Ishnigarrab
~ Nammtar
~ Ningishzida

As a result of blending fiction with non-fiction, the ancient myths surrounding the Sumerian culture are confusing. Anunnaki are mythological beings that pop-culture has turned into reality. Imagine turning the Zeus and Apollo myths into realistic stories, and then selling it to a bunch of gullible people.

At the heart of the Sumerian myths, the civilization is considered to be the first to exist. According to a recent documentary I saw, there are over 100 underwater cities. Many of those underwater cities are theorized to be a lot older than Sumerian.

Its fun to speculate. Just remember we are still learning about 'human history'.

If the Vatican objected to the Anunnaki myths, the reason may be from how they were twisted into demonology. "The Necronomicon" ("Simon's Necronomicon") is a pagan-satanic, nightmarish, and fictional twist on the Sumerian culture.

I was able to find that Gress worked as a visual effects supervisor on multiple projects, including tv shows and movies. The thing that jumped out at me was that I could find no projects from him dated from 2004-2009. There was just a blank period with regards to anything major, but I also couldn't find any small releases either. Absolutely nothing, but maybe someone else will have better luck.

I found the entire credits for the movie, including the actors and everything on the NY Times movies section. I believe it said Chad Ayers was the main actor, if I remember correctly. It talked about Jaguar Films, as well as many other people who were involved with the project.

It said that the project status was "wrapped," so I don't know. To me that means it has been finished, but I suppose it could mean something else. What do you guys think?

I can't see any reason for the movie being suppressed. It's based on information that's already in wide circulation and available to everyone. Why would a low budget movie, which would reach an even smaller number of people than the books it's based on, get swept under the carpet.. Can't see anything suspect about it.

Thanks for sharing though.

Yes, information about the Anunnaki is in wide circulation, through Zecharia Sitchin Books, documentaries and lately it's been largely discussed on History Channel's Ancient Aliens, BUT do you have any idea of the power that a movie trilogy, even a low-budget one, truly faithful to Sumerian scriptures and Sitchin's researches, could have in the subconscious of people all over the world??? Judging by the 3D rendering of that winged-disk spaceship in the launch pad, Jon Gress must have stuck to the core of Zecharia Sitchin books. If he obtained the same high quality rendering the Anunnaki aliens arriving on Earth, building the ED.IN colony, making genetic experiments with apes, mining gold, raising Sumeria, Babylon, Egypt, interacting with humans as gods and stuff like that, these movies would punch the mind of people and trigger a mass awakening. Can you figure out how much the collective memories of mankind would be affected by seeing 3D rendering of ENLIL, ENKI, MARDUK and all those beings reported by the Sumerians, in such movie???

I really doubt that TPTB want this happening!! Mass awakening?? Fall of fake religions and fake gods?? Disclosure of how mankind was created by extraterrestrials??? TPTB have all reasons to prevent these movies of being released!

I think you hit the nail on the head. This movie would plant a seed in peoples minds that would be further researched on the internet leading to a mass awakening to the truth of our origins..
