Oh NASA, you're so silly! NASA gave a very funny explanation here on why we will be attacked. No one here believed what NASA said, isn't it?

So, we send the Enterprise and Kirk back in time to pick up some Humpback Whales to communicate with the large tin of dogfood shaped spaceship that will destroy us.

Yes and yes. We (that means both us Canadians and you Americans) have been bombarded with propaganda constantly by the mainstream media since WWII began. You see, once someone has been under the kind of stress that fear creates for their entire lives, they start to like (the same thing happens with hostages. If the ordeal drags on past a certain "bingo point, the assailed actually starts to like or even LOVE their assailants, and will attack their rescuers in some instances. It's called Stockholm Syndrome." Once the fear stops, it's almost like we create new things in our heads to fear. The government doesn't even need to fearmonger anymore. We do that job for them, it seems now. I honestly believe that most people have come to feel empty without fear. Myself, I have learned to use it as a tool.

They dont want to confront us with the truth, and they ridicule people for believing in ETs, yet when it suits there agenda they will scare us with threats of ET coming to get us because of carbon emissions...really? common sense isnt so common anymore.
