I too, and am sure many of us question all you have stated you question. As my understanding of God and Jesus's word's manifest each and every time I read the Bible I have a better understanding.

It is MY understanding that..

some of us believe in reincarnation. We are spirits having a human experience and therefore our spirits have a "time" to perfect in the spirit of God (Love, as Jesus taught). I really do not want to debate over it...I cannot prove it other than different passages in the Bible whereas Jesus is speaking and" I" believe him to talk of his reincarnations. As to say...this is isn't a one ride to heaven or hell.....we have been experiencing since the beginning of time and there will come a time when "time" ceases to exist. At that "time" we will have made a choice whether or not we are living in the spirit of God or the spirit of evil. They grey area will no longer be available to spirits. And going even further.....Hell is a temporary state IMHO. It is like a consequence for a lifetime of wrong doing....a spanking if you will. Once called upon the light....it comes and you are released. Eventually the spirits who continue on the path of darkness time and time again....when time ends....they will no longer be in any pain or state of happiness. They will just....no longer "be". Even with saying that....We are given chance after chance to get it right and I seriously doubt any spirit will find themselves in the state of non-existence ....Hell is a reminder of suffering that does not go away....no spirit will "like" that place and if they do...they have no place in "Heaven" anyway. This is just my opinion based on my understanding of not only the Bible....but God himself as "I" understand him.

I just typed this here on ATS....

Love the Creator with all your heart and love your neighbor. If you love God you will keep his commandments. Deny your selfish greeds and help the needy and you will walk with and have a relationship with God. You will reap what you sow. You will know if you are walking the right path by your fruits that you bear. This was the ministry of Jesus Christ our savior he literally washed our feet. If you want to feel God's love start by washing your loved ones feet in warm water. You will definitely feel God's love. Then have the faith to go and wash others.

May God's spirit lead you and bless you along the way! Amen.

You are correct. All of mankind started in heaven at first, just as the angels and yes even the fallen. This is very evident in Gen. But, man did not interact per se as the angels did above. More like a placeholder, until it was time to come down here to do as you posted above. Oh, and the great mystery. (Man, has been down more than one cycle) This is why we see human fossils that date back long ago...

Yes, yes indeed my friend. I believe you and I are on the same page. It feels good to see your words reflecting my thoughts.

But our faith is also tested through trials of adversity. Be careful using the word, "true Christian." Only Christ got it right.

Yes I agree. In fact the story of Job is my favorite out of the whole Bible. And by true christian I just meant someone that actually believes, nothing more. Probably the wrong choice of words there.

The story of Job is what showed me that God seems to care more about his ego than his creation.. Cmon... a angel that you kicked out of heaven comes up to you and challenges the love one of your creation has for you..so you kill off everything the man has..including ALL his children ..so you can prove a point?

Would not a wise God have looked at the devil and said.."GET LOST...I know better" ?

EDIT: needed to add...that I don't believe God did this..another story made up by humans in my opinion. I'm leaning towards.. if there is a God..He's not the one in the bible.

Many people say I am going home, when they are about to die. We know this is just a temporary place. Time on Earth goes a lot faster than above. Why would one truly care about dying or their family dying? The true believers knows where home is.

How can you say God is not good? His children went back home to where they are originally from. How is that bad in any way?

Wow...and you say this as if you are all knowing about what is true and what is false.

Believe what you want....but it seems as though your missing the entire message (point)....thats just my opinion though.

Growing in understanding with God's Word will not only make you change your mind many times over but your relationship will expand as you expand your knowledge IN the Spirit of God..
Again...just my opinion.

Also...Why is God waiting to punish Satan for his transgression after he takes humanity with him? Why not have punished Satan then and there in Heaven? Why wait to punish Satan after he takes away the creatures you created in your image?

Because the Bible tells us this is a Mystery.

God allowed Satan to kill Jobs children. God doesnt look at Death like you do , if one of his children die (Christian , believer) he doesnt mourn and feel bad for you or the family. Heaven rejoices when a Child of Christ dies because guess what , there is nothing on the Earth for us (yet) .... this isnt our home , we should be happy that , that loved one was able to return home. However Jesus saddens when one of his creation dies and denied him.

I respect you opinion mamaj... and I'm saying I don't KNOW anything... except that the bible is very confusing..and does not paint a portrait of a loving God to me. A God who needs blood sacrifice for atonement of sin.. A God who created people with the weakness to sin ..because we all have sinned.

There are many wise words in the bible..but there are some very very confusing words in it as well...and I'm just being honest when I say..I really don't see a loving God in that book.

Thats it..nothing personal.

Life here on Earth is like a blink of an eye back home. The lessons we learn here can sometimes be breathtaking but they can also be traumatic and or horrific. Light always find its way out of the darkness though....brighter than ever!!!!!

Job ended up understanding God even more...he was a faithful man and remained that way. His story although sad is a part of life's experiences that allow us extreme growth in this realm of time.

Having lost a son....I can on a small level relate as I once felt like Job did when he was yelling and questioning.

All Father asks of you is Faith. Give him a little and he gives you a little in return. Give him a lot of faith, and watch what will happen. Put him to the test so you may.

and this is supposed to be a valid answer? Judging from this response..I have to say I won't even go into why the bible is confusing ..because I fear I will just get more confused with the answers.

Time for me to exit this thread..and I hope the OP finds some valuable answers he/she is looking for.

Mankind is sent down here to prove their love for God. What better way to prove your love than through trials. It is not for God but for that individual person. Yes, father knows the outcome of your decision. But, when you have been through the bottom like you did as Job, he can say wow I been through all that and I truly love God. It's more of knowing it through experience rather than just saying it.

I TOTALLY understand and have felt your frustration. I can honestly say it has taken me many years and a lot of struggles and reading to get to where I am at today. I wish I could give you my thoughts for a day so you could know what its like to be at peace with an understanding that has come from hours and hours of me seeking. I wish I could prevent someone like you from having to seek as hard and as long as I have. For some they just get it..or if they don't they just go with the flow and never question. I am a "Why" person and I have to make sense of everything!! It has taken me sooooo long to get to a peace of mind state.

Reaching a point where you can sit back and say OH....OK....Now I get it. I love you God.....you ARE nice, you ARE loving, you ARE forgiving and you HAVE created Perfection!!! WOW...God, I love you!

Creation is much much more than people give it credit. It is out of this world...literally.
