I would believe humans walked with dinosaurs before I believed that garbage.

ok i didnt get to go through all the posts on this but the radiometric dating inaccuracy is not very correct. "Many people have argued in the past that radioactive dating is susceptible to the initial concentrations of elements in the rock, or the effects of intermediate processes leaching out certain chemicals from the rocks. Whilst there is some truth in this for the standard radiometric dating techniques, the process of isochron dating completely removes these objections. The process is very well explained on this site. I can't emphasise enough how important it is to understand this process in order to gain complete confidence in radiometric dating." www.frayn.net...

My uncle lives in Texas and he went to the Glen Rose site and said it was real. That was a long time ago so any picture you see now might be distorted by nature.I guess nobody thought to excavate a square with a gas powered concrete saw.Now they have N.Mexico and Russia.I say if you are a skeptic of anything,go and investigate it yourself.Reply when you get back from your tour of the American S.W.Good luck.Don't sleep on the ground.Bring a sleeping bag even though it's hot in the daytime.BuhBye.

Me either.

Dinosaurs ARE millions of years old, and that has been confirmed over and over again - and no "Paleo" that I know of would ever say otherwise. Just because they are that old, though, doesn't preclude that some could have survived in some areas, having a relict population. Coelacanths, though not dinosaurs, come to mind as an example of how that could work, as do Tuataras, I think it is. Now coelacanths are underwater, and tuataras are small lizards, which could be factors in their survival, but that doesn't necessarily preclude small populations of particular sorts of thunder lizards surviving in ideal locations.

Now, by ideal locations, one where there are no people to coexist with the postulated critters does sort of come to mind - we'd no doubt eat them, then there wouldn't be any more survivors!

Have you been in America?
The american dream is a prison mentality. They have no idea how to operate on their own, spoon fed everything from their serogate father the TV from a young age.

Take a look at the statistics of the country of some of the fattest dumbest people on the planet.

And YEA I'm over generalizing, But the reason your on ATS if because you can't discuss any of this or get any helpful information if because americans can't process it. They live in a dreamworld. I do too, and so do you.

The first fossil hunter: dinosaurs , mammoth, and myth in Greek and Roman times

As Mayor shows, the Greeks and Romans were well aware that a different breed of creatures once inhabited their lands. They frequently encountered the fossilized bones of these primeval beings, and they developed sophisticated concepts to explain the fossil evidence, concepts that were expressed in mythological stories. The legend of the gold-guarding griffin, for example, sprang from tales first told by Scythian gold-miners, who, passing through the Gobi Desert at the foot of the Altai Mountains, encountered the skeletons of Protoceratops and other dinosaurs that littered the ground.

I thought there may be some who would find this interesting. I haven't read it yet, but have it on order.

After reading this post, I took a few minutes to actually think about it. The bible even says that he created man to look over all of the animals. To me that would include the dinosaurs of all kinds. It is not that hard to believe that humans and dinosaurs co-existed in the world. I would have to say that people probably ran from T-Rex though. After all he is a meat eater.

An interesting story that I thought I'll look up some references on, since you didnt provide any yourself.
The best seems to be Fossil legends of the first Americans By Adrienne Mayor where it is clearly stated the Lakota decided they were caused by the beavers, by using the fossil remains of those beavers.

fossilised paleocaster beaver skeletons were frequently found at the bottom of the structures... Observing the very same fossil evidence, the Lakotas had recognised the burrows of ancient beavers...

The assertion you make the only reasonable conclusion, is clearly somewthing that you jst made up off the top of your head. Not a shred of evidence provided to back it up, whereas the "Lakotas saw the beaver fossils" is certainly backed up by evidence.

I'm calling foul on that one.

That was the first hole I noticed in his logic too.

Anyone else think that an Ark full of dinosaurs would be a bit chaotic? (As well as outrageously clown-car like)

I find it exceedingly difficult to believe this.
I have seen no credible evidence and any evidence furnished appears to be propaganda from Creationist/Fundamentalist Christian sites.

Yep ive always thought this to be the case, and this futher proves that evolution is a hoax and the biblical accounts of Genesis are infact the truth.

Is this all you've got? An all-too-common trait from the likes of you, I'm afraid.
The fact is there is NO credible proof, and for your information, the Bible is not a credible piece of proof, nor does it even mention dinosaurs, so they mustn't exist, right (following your logic about the bible not mentioning evolution...).
Leviathan/ Behemoth does NOT equal dinosaur, but when one is blinded by faith, the straws are well clutched.
