Did Satan seduce Eve in the garden of Eden? Yes he did. (Genesis 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat)

Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

First of all the tree is not an actual tree and most certainly NOT an apple tree.

The trees God speaks of throughout the bible are in fact people; the fruit is what is *produced* by these people.

Luke 6:43-44 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. (44)For every tree is known by his own fruit..

So...back to Eve in the garden. Did she 'lay' with Satan? Yes she did. Did Eve produce children with Satan? Yes she did.

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
And
Matthew 13:37-38
He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
(38) The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Who is this "wicked one"? You guessed it! Satan.

Mathew 39:The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

And the first child of Satan and Eve...Cain.

Any thoughts?

Not a mere moment ago did I see this on another thread... one has to wonder...

Secondly... does MaskedAvatar know his mask is missing?

Third, why not? Adam had children with Lilith... why couldn't Eve get something on the side?

I never ONCE wrote anywhere that I believe "all this"

Everything I've written came directly from the bible. It's all about research and sharing the knowledge of a possible known or not known conspiracy. Hence the location of my post.

So..Do you have any thoughts about what I've researched or do you want to know what I believe and don't believe?

Whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You just created another version of Genesis I bet if you keep on going you will change the entire Old Testament and make you own bible, it isn't what the leader of the Mormons did?

Can you imagine the money you can make with a different interpretation of the bible?

I did not create anything. But thanks for the compliment

How can what I've posted make any less sense than Eve talking to a snake and eating an apple from a tree where she gains all this knowledge of good and evil? Since when does fruit make any of us wise to what is good and evil?

What I have done is interpret some things written in the bible but that does not mean that I know this to be fact. However it makes more sense to *me* than talking snakes and wise fruits

As this was mentioned on the thread regarding Biblical Timelines, it was probably read there and reposted here... which is usually of no concern, there have been cross references on ATS before...

I can see this as being another interpretation... read carefully, it kinda makes sense. BUT... Bruised head and heel a child doth not make...

AND, magestica... relax! The guy asked you if you believe in this, that's all... answer the man's question, don't jumble about!

Marg6043... The Mormons use their own Bible, totally different from the Hebrew one. Their leader found the gold tablets inside a hill and had an angel decypher it for him.

No proof of the original version, and certainly no more proof in any of this.....

your argument cannot stand up my friend. if the eden story is a metaphor, then god did not create the world in 6 days.
you can not take some parts literal and the rest sybolically as there is no way to know which the author had in mind.

Why are you equating the serpent in the garden with satan?

I didn't read this on another thread, I will check it out though, thanks Soothsayer!

I believe "this" no more or less than I believe that a snake spoke to Eve and enticed her to eat a wise piece of fruit from a knowledgable tree. The former makes more sense to me though when I began reading further than Genesis.

I'm open to any other interpretations

And Vs Vortex: God did not create the heaven and earth is 6 days. His time is not man's time (according to the bible)

Rev. 20:2
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old SERPENT, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years...

Has it that the 'snake' and 'tree' were technical instruments... that the Tree of Knowledge was a computer of sorts, and that the serpent was a speaker? microphone? that the other factions (ie the 'bad guys') used to free the humans from slavery.

Actually, alot of the Old Testament can be read like that... using metaphors or language of the ancients to describe technological marvels... who hasn't read the accounts of Abraham and thought chemical and nuclear warfare?

So before revelations the serpent was supposed to be what then? Why must this mean that the serpent in the garden is the devil? Why can't it merely be some one saying 'that old serpent, that dragon'? I mean, by similar reasoning, it also means that the serpent in the garden of eden was a dragon.

I had not heard that interpretation until now. Thanks you.

And it is true, sometimes Jesus spoke in parables and God spoke in parables as did others throughout the bible. So it is really left up to the reader to find his/her own meaning when such is the case. I've heard many a folks say that one cannot just read the bible and understand the word, one must ask that the Holy Spirit speak through so to understand the words written.

But *IF* there are offspring of Satan, then I wonder how different some of the interpretations or understandings would be?

Before Revelation, in Genesis, the Serpent was Satan.

Genesis 3:1
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

And the Serpent remains so in Revelation. But you are not obligated in any way to take my word for it, it is all written in the bible for anyone who begins reading.

Magestica -

Right on!!! Too many people have no idea what the bible says. Don't you all know that the parables were ment to be understood by those who believe. If you start reading a book and miss the whole plot, why do you think you would understand any of it. Who do you think kept and passed on the story of Adam and Eve? It was her own children. How would you tell this story to your children?

Everyday we deal with the corruption and sin of lust. It is the division in the family and the very thing that spawns sin of all kinds.

The same as with the giants which were the offspring of angels and women. God flooded the earth to get rid of this corrupt thing. Who survived? Noah and his wife.....and his sons and their wives. Noah didn't have any more kids after the flood. Haven't you ever wandered about the bloodline of the sons wives?

This is why the fathers garden is still full of tares.

the bible sez god created the earth in 6 days. even if we can agree that god's timing is not our own. how might we agree upon when and what god's timing is?
you see where i am going with this?
if the bible were any-other book, you would read it with more objectivity.
since you nor i, were hanging out in the garden 'talking with god', neither of us may know with 100% accuracy what happened and how....
