Can you imagine the money you can make with a different interpretation of the bible?

Why are you equating the serpent in the garden with satan?

Rev. 20:2
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old SERPENT, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years...

Has it that the 'snake' and 'tree' were technical instruments... that the Tree of Knowledge was a computer of sorts, and that the serpent was a speaker? microphone? that the other factions (ie the 'bad guys') used to free the humans from slavery.
Actually, alot of the Old Testament can be read like that... using metaphors or language of the ancients to describe technological marvels... who hasn't read the accounts of Abraham and thought chemical and nuclear warfare?

So before revelations the serpent was supposed to be what then? Why must this mean that the serpent in the garden is the devil? Why can't it merely be some one saying 'that old serpent, that dragon'? I mean, by similar reasoning, it also means that the serpent in the garden of eden was a dragon.
