I want to believe that Ron Paul can become the next president and set this country straight, but with all the other BS politicians out there I have a feeling that he could just be another Illuminati puppet. I've seen pictures of him throwing up the horns and regardless of what people think it means the underlying meaning can't be ignored. There is a chance that Ron Paul is an Illuminati puppet. Please Ron Paul prove me wrong!

That's also the sign for "I love you" in sign language. He could be telling his crowds he loves them after a speech. It's also the bullhorn sign for that TX University team (and he is from TX). So, that's not quite proof of anything, a real Illuminati puppet would probably not feel compelled to drop little hints like that.

Whether Illuminati or not...he is still a politician.
That word alone should evoke some question. He could be just another politician playing an angle the others haven't thought of yet...or weren't brave enough to.

Beware...the definition of politician can EASILY be the same as conman, if history is any lesson.

The moment anybody is elected, they become a politician. To suggest that just carrying that label automatically makes you dishonest, is really quite a stretch, isn't it? It makes as much sense as buying a car, and having it lose it's value the moment you drive it off the lot. His voting record is consistently along constitutional lines. It's weird that so many posters seem to be hammering at this notion, over and over. Do you have anything to bring to the table to suggest that he's no different than the others? An ever changing voting record in accordance with campaign contributions maybe? Anything, other than him having been elected to office by the people?

I agree with that to a point, but you also have to look at the person and not the profession. I know it's all too easy to say that all politicians are crooks, that all lawyers are liars, that all doctors care about is pure profit and not the patients - and you would be right, to a degree.

Not all lawyers are leeches and liars, some doctors do really care about the patients and don't just hand out drugs because Pfizer paid for their vacation and some politicians show a 30 year record of standing apart.

I'll be the first to bash the crazy politicians we have in power now, it's almost effortless in this climate but do yourself a favor and research Ron Paul over the decades, you just may find someone you like.

I will take Ron Paul over Rick Perry any day of the week, Ron Paul's policy is just plain old common sense, Rick Perry's claims are unjustified.

Rick Perry is a coat-tail politician as a democrat he supported Al Gore for president when that didn't work he changed to republican and supported GW Bush for president and moved into the governors mansion. Perry claims to be creating jobs in Texas, that is a half truth the fact that Texas is blessed with many natural resources mostly oil and gas have created the jobs not Rick Perry. Once the national press starts digging into his "great" job of running Texas Ron Paul will look even better.

I just watched him speak at the straw poll, I have fox news on.

If he loses in the US, can Canada have him?
I wonder if we have a birth requirement here

I love his ideas about a small government that doesn't interfere so much in people's lives.
It's good to see him getting air time.
Most of the other candidates are too religious, and church and state should not mix......

Don't let the birth requirement stop you.. we didn't.
Either way, I think I'd rather he be here as POTUS

He is so much more than words.. All you have to do is look at his voting record. I am not aware of him EVER being accused of 'doublespeak'

Go Ron!

In South Africa Ron Paul hardly gets a mention. Obama is still the favourite and the challenge is coming from that Tea party lady.

Will be interesting elections though.

I understand that people are very desperate for a breath of freash air such as Ron Paul FINALY getting media coverage...however one must question WHY he is getting more media coverage?

Media coverage isn't a voting system and doesn't care what people think this is why previous years he was ignored in the MSM regardless of how many people loved Ron Paul.

The fact the media is NOW paying attention to him through their own choice (faux news none the less) is very suspicious behavior. The media machine is always pushing its agenda which isn't what some think it is, ie: ratings, money, etc.. The media machine's first and foremost top priority is to CREATE WORLD VIEW and INFLUENCE HUMAN THOUGHT PATTERNS.

the people running the MSM machine known no better themselves and as far as they are concerned its legitimate journalism...

I still agree with mostly everything Ron Paul says and he is STILL the best canidate for positive change, however my "too good to be true sense" is tingling with the coverage and popularity he is recieving from the very same sources that last election cycle were more than happy to go out of their way to ignore him and edit out his views etc.

why the sudden change of heart? and "because people are waking up" is a horrible answer...people don't control the media's interest...media controls the people's interests...

Ron Paul is the only person that can save the US. Sadly, he will never be allowed to become president.

Yep. People need to be aware of this. Anyone with any clue about the depths of corruption in the US and around the world should know that an honest person who wants positive change for the people will NEVER be allowed to achieve his or her goals. They will destroy him in the media. If they fail, they will destroy his policies in office, or just destroy him (literally.) There's probably several dozen ways the CIA could take him out and make it look like an accident or some natural disease.

This country is absolutely corrupt and there is no hope of fixing it through the political process. Just bear that in mind in the coming months & years, when you see what happens, and wonder why it's happening and what you should do.

Because now they're up against social media, where they are not in control...they have given Paul some mention, but it is still usually nothing more than a snarky brushing under the rug. They are trying to balance between acknowledging his obvious support because they can't hide it, and marginalizing him.

They don't control the message anymore. They are not omnipotent, don't give them a god status. We can win, we can win so decisively that there's no way they can hide it. First, we have to stop the stinkin thinkin.

I know I've said this on another thread but I can't help but repeat it again....Good luck to Ron Paul from this individual sitting in England. He is good for the planet and not just for America.

If this man doesn't get in I seriously fear for us all.

Dr. Paul is not a "TPTB" candidate, but the "TPTB" also want Dr. Paul as the next POTUS. They want the same thing that he promises: to dismantle the Fed and reduce the US Federal Government to what it was 100 years ago.
