Railing against the military? He doesn't rail against the military, he advocates bringing them home from the far away lands, and use the military for defense, not offense. He supports the troops more than any of the establishment politicians, it's the military industrial complex, and war profiteers he is against. He served in the air force. We can't afford to play world police anymore, and Israel is more than capable of taking care of themselves, they wiped the floor with the arab world in a few days and have hundreds of nukes. If they want to take Iran out, let them do it.

Not trying to be rude at all, but he's consistent with his voting record. How is that a flake? Please explain. Also, "mainstream"? Yeah, That's what we need more of.

My how they have orchestrated their anti-Ron Paul campaign well. Too bad U.S Military troops now serving have donated more to Paul than any Canidate, including Obama. ~SheopleNation

Since Governor Rick Perry of Texas has now officially entered the race, any discussion of Paul, Bachman, Romney, et.el. is a time waster. The discussion should now turn to: PERRY vs OBAMA.

This is the matchup that Rush Limbaugh wanted. Looks like wish and prediction has come true. This will be a very fun-to-follow matchup indeed!

I don't think there's much they can attack him for, and if the people really are waking up and it's looking more like he's gonna win, it would be obvious if they murder him. That could be the spark that starts full blown revolution...

It would be obvious.. As obvious as JFK. Problem is not everyone wants him to win.. so the obvious murder wouldn't be so obvious to them.. out of convenience.

cwm, I personally don't care about what the paid liberal Republican sell out Limbaugh wants. He has now flip flopped as many times like the Lurch John Kerry on his former announcement that he was no longer the water boy for the Liberal anti-Constitutional GOP. So with that being said, and with no personal disrespect whatsoever to you personally, Hand to the face on that opinion. Nothing but love though. ~SheopleNation

The fact that I am even considering voting republican sounds strange to me. But I can't help it....even though I don't agree with many of his ideas...the country is in a state where some things need to to be overlooked IMO. Paul is the anti politician... I "feel" this guy cares about this country and the people who call it home. I'm done with the insanity that is bipartisan BS politics. It's kinda like all the best Dr.s of the world getting together to finally cure the common cold. Everyone agrees that if they can just stop the runny nose then the cold will go away. Then all they fight for years over how best to stop the runny nose. This country is sick people!!! And our "leaders" on ALL sides are trying to fix it with a snot rag! We need to start with a different knd of politician...one that "feels" truthful to us.

You're considering doing something that is in the best interest of your Country, The United States of America. Atleast in regards to voting for Ron Paul anyway. Otherwise, No matter if it's Democrat or Republican, You would be voting for a robot yes man / women that was hand picked and is controlled by the enemies within. ~SheopleNation

Limbaugh, so gay that he can't stand to actually 'consumate' with the woman he may be married to at the time.
Had to steal his buddy's viagra in order to visit the little boys he likes in the Dominican Republic.
2012? will be Hillary v. Palin, Hillary will win.
Bachmann can't win, not with the gay husband.

Isn't it great to live in a country where you can spout such filthy lies about public figures without consequence?

You are fascinated with men's penises and what they do with them, eh? Weird, really.

Imagine if we brought our troops home, sincerely cut wasteful spending and the size of our federal government, and allow a true free market. Fair competition would be allowed, and nobody would be able to buy politicians to pass laws designed to eliminate competition. Finally, the hemp industry could come back to America, on steroids. Food, fuel, and durable production material. We could take another bite out of our dependence on oil, and start producing as a nation again.

You know he's good when he wins polls and both Democrats and Republicans hate him.

So seriously.. how often does a politician come along that is hated and ignored by both parties but wins polls?

The situation with Ron Paul is unique. It doesn't happen often. They will be working extremely hard to destroy him or murder him if it becomes to obvious he might win.

He's been in office for over 20 years, and hasn't changed anything of substance. Now that he's becoming senile he sounds like a solon? He's too old to withstand the rigors of the office.

I feel you are right. I think the hang up people need to get over is the name of the party they have been affiliated forever. I know there are some ideologies that are important to people but right now we need a major reboot! We need to vote the person not the party. People need to run all of these candidates through their own personal sniff test. To me...all but Paul smell a salty bag of a$@ holes.

No need for "partisan blinders" because I am a life long Republican. Well, atleast until if or when Ron Paul leaves the Party to run as an Independent Conservative because the braindead GOP will never give him the nomination.

So the GOP is braindead. I AGREE. So what?

Gingrich the "most intelligent, experienced in the race"? LOL! Well I'll give yuh the "most experienced" because he probably is because he is the former Speaker of the House. However, I wouldn't call being a Liberal Republican, Neo-Con yes-man robot anything close to being intelligent.

I doubt if you'd recognize intelligence if it sat next to you at lunch time.

But you might have to take the puppet blinders off to realize that. ~SheopleNation

Uh huh...
And who might this puppet be following, praytell?

Agreed.
And that part about Mirandizing terrorists -- ay loco!

Problem is, he's getting into coronary territory. If he should croak, you can be sure it will be blamed on the umbrella.

"railing against the military"???? you'll be alright_javascript:icon('
') He wants them to STAY ALIVE and spend their pay AT HOME. How in the world is that "railing against the military"??? We should NOT be involved in everybody else's problems. We are not Israel's big brother (protector) let them protect themselves! Nobody protected the Native Americans from us did they? But who cares about that right? His point about Iran is simple. If your neighbors had a gun and hated you wouldn't you want a gun too so you could have an even playing field? Why should the U.S. and friends be the only ones allowed to have nuclear weapons/power? He is just saying that Iran is a nation comprised of human beings who naturally want the ability to defend themselves just like anyone else and MAY NOT AGREE with their government!!! hmmmm..... sounds familiar doesn't it?

You folks speak as if RP is the only candidate that wants to bring our men and women home. You're deluded.

His problem is he doesn't have a good plan for what to do with them after they come home. And he gives absolutely NO thought to the consequences of an abrupt drawdown.

Another thing: many of you say we should not be the world's big brother.

Well, unfortunately that comes with the territory when you are the most powerful nation on earth.

Have we mismanaged that role and can we do better? YES!

But let's not go knee-jerk here. And once again, this is not an idea unique to RP.

The difference is, we believe he actually means it. Obama ran on that platform too, and it tricked me into voting for him. We don't want the 3rd coming of Bush, we want REAL hope and change. Don't bother trying to convince us another establishment candidate will be different...this time.

That's because he's been surrounded by the same old d-bags in Washington for that time. Of course HE didn't get anything done...d-bags apparently make it tough. He's not too old. He is very experienced dealing with Washington's BS...yet he is NOTHING like ANY other politician. If Ron Paul loses...America loses...again.

Agree. Although, I believe Obama had good intentions until he was bought or threatened. I don't think he is the one who duped us. We have all seen and heard about the massive change in Obama from before to after he was elected. Ron Paul is too old to be threatened to get the JFK treatment and I highly doubt he can be bought. Every other tool seems to have a price or a weakness (family to live for, etc.)
