New Member With Interesting Situation

OK, it's been a long time since the last update. Is there any new news on this thing? Has it gone on a rampage, trashing the house yet? I just got back online after a cross-country move this past week, so I've been missing a lot. Then again, with how slow it's been here, I may not have missed all that much after all. I sure hope we can figure out what this thing is. I ANXIOUSLY await your reply.

Hi, Very interesting story, been reading for about 2 hours now
I have one question concerning something you posted earlier...

She tip toed towards the bedroom, and swears to this day she heard 'it/him' dial a number on the phone (my phone at the time had a very audible keypad) and begin talking to someone, although she could not understand what was being said.

My question is, did anyone try pressing the redial button to maybe find out who or what was telephoned? If so , what were the results?

No, noone tried redialing. Although the image of ET Phone Home comes to mind, lol.

In all seriousness, we are currently trying additioanl contact through the mirror, but for some reason the pics aren't turning out very well. Not sure why. In any case, no real new news for now. Same old activity as mentioned before.

We did also take to calling it 'BOB' and it did get quite active (angry?) upstairs a few days ago when I was home alone and walked through the house calling it 'a coward' for not confronting me and making itself known. It was then that i decided to call it Bob, after a suggestion on here.

i find it CRAZY that this thing eats, sleeps and uses the bathrooms and you can't see it...

i would be freaked out if it was in my house...

try taking pictures and videos and etc. (if you havn't yet) and get a temp. reader as in some cases, we can "see" ghosts by measuring their temp...

I'm not trying damper your thread but it does not seem this thing is really a threat except for causing a little more housework and snapping an invisible cloths-pin to your cats tail once in a while (dont try this at home it takes 2 hours to catch the cat and another 3 to stop laughing and by the time you do catch him he's really pissed off!). I dont understand why your getting so many offered so many ways to paint it, shoot it, destroy it when its probably just as frustrated trying to communcate with you as you are with it... sounds like spending more time in that steamy bathroom is going to be the closest to a comm link your will get next to a telephone call from it

If it was me man, and he was getting riled up because I was calling him a coward, maybe I'd persue that a bit more. If you could make him mad enough, he might just appear; just a thought.

I've been reading this thread for the past hour and must say it is highly interesting although it is hard to believe. I did find some stuff on optical cloaking:

Although in this case either the entity is transparent and very slightly refractive or the cloaking device is built in to some sort of highly advanced suit...

maybe there is some other type of medium you can place in your house that can be used during the night like a chalk board or something aside from limiting it to the bathroom

Maybe it was upset because it's a female and doesn't like to be called "Bob"??

Perhaps this is a parallel world seeping into your world? Kind of like a temporary, somtimes convergence? The first post you made told of your wife's parents thinking they had seen the two of you toegther out at a restaurant, when in fact you were not out. It's like they saw your doubles, right? Why didn't they confront the two people they thought were YOU at the time instead of rushing home to see if you two were there? It seems logical that they would have gone over to the couple to see for themselves if it was you? When they told you about their having seen these *doubles* what did you think and feel about it? And why do you think that that event has anything to do with your current *visitor*?

I kind of get the feeling, like others here, that this is a set-up for a game by the Mods. I may be wrong, but it feels like all the elements of the UFO/Alien, secret government/military, and other dimensions scenarios are included in this story. And then your Mother didn't call the police, and just sneaked in to see if she could catch an intruder in your home all by herself? Just because it MIGHT have been your cousin? It all seems contrived, but very well done nevertheless. Please forgive me if this is a true story, because I mean no disrespect. If it is a game, should we be collecting clues??

Anyhoo....There have been a lot of good suggestions here by a lot of people, and it's been very interesting. I will continue to read, and hope that you continue to post the on-going events. It feels like you are not really all that frightened of these events, and that you feel that the entity means you no harm? I used to have a ghost knock at my door every night after the children were in bed, as if to say that all were home and safely tucked away! I liked my ghost, and was never scared. Hopefully, this entity of yours is also just a concerned friend...who likes practical jokes or needs attention!!

Wow ... your story has piqued my interest into looking for information on some of the information you portrayed in it. I hope you find the help you are seeking.

If it likes eating stuff out of the fridge, this will be easy.

Use the old "ratsak" in the cheesecake trick. Don't lace the cake(or whatever it's favourite food is) at home or it might see you.

Once it's dead and you have a "body" spraypaint it so you can see it's form. Then take pictures and upload to ATS. At least then we will have the evidence before the government makes you disappear and goes into cover-up overdrive.

I don't think he wants to kill it, he just wants to find out what it is...

Get one of those kids toy artist boards that have clear plastic in the front and wax behind it when you lift the plastic front it erases the image.

I�m curious about the �shimmer�. You mentioned earlier that your wife has migraines. I�ve had episodes for years where I will see something like you are describing. I have always described it as the visual information is scrambled. When this happens, I can see but it�s like I�m looking through some electronic noise. Finally, I mentioned it to my Optometrist and found out it is quite common and is actually a migraine. Apparently, not all migraines involve pain. When this happens to me it last for anywhere from 1 second to 15 minutes. When I have short episodes it sometimes fools me into thinking something is there but I can�t focus on it? It was quite disturbing until I found out what it was.

Just a thought to explain one thing you�ve mentioned.

I just found this tonight. As I progress through this string, it's starting to read more like a test of my intelligence than an authentic post. Is that what this is? A "riddle"? If it is, You've got me puzzled. Your story makes for great reading though. It seems to have a little something from every string on this site. Real or not it is entertaining.

Yes, migraines can do that to people. Most of mine have been precluded by that exact experience. At least your's were not followed by the most excruciating pain imaginable; mine were. I've even been blinded in both eyes from the outside to the middle of the eye for about 15 minutes because of a migraine.

In retrospect, yes you see a lot of funny things when having a migraine, and NONE of them are little green men.

everlastingnoitall: i recommend a air spray can sprayed upsidedown, like the ones used to spray air to clean a pc ect. its will freeze and make a cloud big enough to see maybe a face or something....and its inexpensive......in this was you will not have anthing out of the ordiary sitting around to scare it into thinking your gonna try something. i use this trick to freeze flys in mid air..lol
