Jupiter, I haven't left, but as I've mentioned many times on this thread, I cannot post at regular intervals.
I am thinking of starting an ATS blog, if still available, where I can update and other things. We'll see.
In answer to your questions:
1) The van no longer is around. However, we have been noticing a dark colored pickup truck (like a full size GM model maybe), only at night, and only
since I had the conversation a few weeks ago with my father-in-law (on page 5).
2)Yes, we hear it alot. It is especially fond of our bedroom, and playing in the upstairs. It has moved objects in the room, folded articles of dirty
laundy I have left on the floor, and seems to 'jump and wrestle' on our bed while we are downstairs (I can't really describe that further, since we
are downstairs when we hear the noises). In fact, I had a neighbor I share a wall with come over and tell me to stop making so much noise upstairs
recently while only myself and my wife were home, and both downstairs at the time. It can be heard saying things now once in awhile, although we have
yet to be able to understand the speech (read the post about the chorid like noises above).
3) We haven't been able to determine for sure if it follows us on vacation or not, although I lean toward not because of an incident about a year and
a half ago.
We had come up to the area on vacation visiting relatives. We were living in Southern IL at the time. My mother called me one afternoon telling
me she was watching my house because she had gone into it (we left her the keys) to deliver our mail and heard a man's voice in the back bedroom,
accompanied by what she said sounded like someone rummaging through empty hangers in our closet. She tip toed towards the bedroom, and swears to this
day she heard 'it/him' dial a number on the phone (my phone at the time had a very audible keypad) and begin talking to someone, although she could
not understand what was being said. She left the house, but stayed near, where she could watch for someone coming out (we were having problems with a
nephew at the time who had been seen breaking into other family member's homes, so she didn't call the police), but after an hour or so, she went
back into the house and found nothing. The only thing she said she found was the phone lying in the floor in the back bedroom, when my wife and I had
left it in the cradel in the livingroom so the battery would be charged when we got back.
Needless to say, she did not go back in the house until we got back, although she did go by to check fromt he outside from time to time.
