Very true, it's gone well beyond that now.

From what I saw in Brum earlier, it's just chaos for chaos's sake.

You can't say it's anything to do with culture here either, because only about 50% of the Brum population is white anyway, so any cross section of the population will contain a large quantity of non whites.

Edit: Some 300 people causing damage to buildings in Liverpool city centre, "minor scuffles" taking place in Manchester, now some disturbances in Bristol now apparently too

Oh stop - I consider myself to be british and part of a multi cultural society - my teenagers aren't out on the streets. From what I've seen on TV these youths are from all races and cultures, and the people who are commenting on this situation are from a variety of cultures and backgounds. I'm not seperated by any culture, but I do seperate myself from this insane vandalism and looting.

It hasn't been confirmed that the "idiot" who was shot was the guilty person, or even that they found a weapon on him. This is the problem.

Confirmed or not, he shot at a policeman and he eventually got shot.

The man was a known 'gangster' with shed-loads of previous, yet because nobody has confirmed YET he is some sort of social martyr?! As the old saying goes, you can't polish a turd.... however much you try.

Is there any pics??? I havent heard any sirens for ages, so i doubt its on fire.
Im in Loughton...its a couple of miles away.....the distribution center is 1/2 mile long...i would have heard fire engines im sure if this were really the case

Yeah, there's a blog about the Birmingham riots online. There is a lot of misinformation on there, saying it's kicking off in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Bloxwich (area of Walsall) etc. It's all rubbish. The whole Black Country is fine. I know, I live there.

Can confirm, i live in the Borough of Walsall, very close to Bloxwich...nothing has happened
