In Vancouver, the rioters were tear gassed. You could smell it in the air for at least another day afterwards.

My friend is a retail plain clothes detective. He can confirm Westfield was looted in "The Village" luxury section last night. Also 400 police successfully stopped 2000 thugs from Lewisham going to fight 200 English defence league/Eltham vigilantes last night. They were intercepted in Grove Park half way between Lewisham and Eltham. This was not on the news and just now when a caller tried to tell LBC news that EDF were currently indiscriminately attacking all black people (not rioters) in Harlow and Lewisham. LBC then announced the police had no such information so it must be untrue.

Meanwhile there is a lot of misinformation on Blackberry message I feel that a race war may start.

In the UK a lot of white English dislike all who are not white and English. The fact that Hackney had 50% black rioters and Manchester had 15% black rioters (the rest were white) is ignored by those who wish to seek their own agenda.

All I can say is all though I'm not young enough to be a rioter I may have to break the law if a shaven headed 45 year old EDF/football hooligan attacks me, my wife or children because we are the same colour as SOME of the rioters...

A LOT of bridges were built last night.

Sikhs had their temples open to EVERYONE and they escorted scared people home or made a cuppa for them in the temple.

Indian Sikh vigilantes will not attack all Turkish, whites,(Polish etc and English) or blacks on sight.

Greek and Turkish vigilantes will not attack non Mediterranean people on sight.

EDF/BNP/football hooligans will attack all non white English on sight. If you are white French, German, American or Polish etc do not speak and you will be OK..

The first day back at work the guys in my office joked was I out burning down Croydon. This is the mindset of the working and middle-class people in this country. They are blind to the fact that the Waltham Abbey fire in Essex was most probably not set by a black arsonist.

They are stretching their expectations if they think all non English white should have no rioters in their populations and that all the white rioters are ethnic sympathizers.

Just seen Tariq Jahan on TV - my god what a noble man - I wish I knew him personally. He is the father of one of the 3 young men killed by a car whilst protecting their property. A True Brit!

We need more sensible elders of the communities involved coming forward to calm the situation, it only takes one person to incite a riot, likewise it only takes one noble person to step forward and incite peace.

Thought this was worth posting and a different view of these "riots" and the social disconnect that is a major factor as to the source of these events.

Don't worry I'm not accusing you personally. If everyone was like that my Mother and Father would have been hacked to death when they arrived in the UK as a Nurse and joiner after answering public information adverts posted in Jamaica back in the 50's and 60's.

The English public that used to spit on me when going to school back in the 70's are all either dead or too old to do anything. But they did have kids who have taken on their views. !

Here's keeping our fingers crossed...Just a gut feeling.....75% of the people at work gave me bad looks on Monday morning. Lets hope that I just work in a racist yet corporate environment and it's not a reflection of the UK middle/working class.....!!!
