Nice that the morons are getting filmed... or being stupid enough to post pics on Facebook with them surrounded by stolen goods!

I saw a great scene on Sky news before,It was a group of Sikhs protecting their area.Not sue if it was London or Manchester,but the point is,there was a big white skinhead guy in the front row,with the Sikhs in their turbans.
I like to see that.
All cultures helping out together.

The thing that I liked about the video the most was that he noticed that he was being filmed at the end and tried to pull his hood down to obscure his face. Too late scumbag!

Watching the vid from 0:24 to 0:30 does anyone notice the guy in the suit and the middle-aged white guy in the blue anorak. Looks like the youth goes over and they have a short convo after he lit the fire. It's late and i'm tired but this looks like somekind of choreographed act to me...just saying

British people don't rape each other in jail to my knowledge

Seems the Police have done a good job tonight.

I expect tomorrow and Thursday to be much the same. With kids maybe trying to start again on Friday

From what i've read here blackberry employees got threatened by "hackers" (seems like blog posters to me)

Maybe it made them decide not to go through with it?

Have to agree btw that somehow it feels as if authorities are kinda "letting it sail" at the moment.

Same thing after 9/11 here where I live. Media reported that some whites were beating up arabs. What they failed to report, is that the arabs that got beat up were on a construction site hooting it up that their side had bomb the great white devil....and they got their asses handed to them for it.

i always think about the other side of a story, however you cannot really condemn people defending their own area & property.

UK police should be in touch with the Vancouver, BC, Canada police.

Did anyone see the expressions of the kids in this video? Do they think this kind of nonsense is funny? I wonder is it a "I now have no where to live and nothing to my name" so let me go rob and burn some stuff kind of thing?

If they burn down the housing project that keeps the kids in then where can these kids go? They might not even have a home to go to anymore. I guess robbing and burning is the only thing that will do for these people...stay safe.

Doubt it will happen-thats just one MP asking for it-he may have support from others-but buisnesses also rely on BBM,so it will take days and maybe not happen if challenged legally.

Im pretty sure they have laws in place that allow them to "flip the switch" when needed, i agree though that for now it's unlikely that it will happen. Even if it's just to allow agent provocateurs to communicate >< (pretty sure theyre amongst them by now)

Top marks - well spotted! It does look like he has a convo, and that the guy tells him to put his hoody up - that;s what prompts him to do so... I hope the met have some sharp eyed dude like you working with them
