Massive Riot In Tottenham London

Previously unaffected London areas Croydon and Ilford now going up in flames. Wow BBC live footage of many buildings in Croydon on fire. Just mental in Croydon looks like the Blitz, how do you set so many buildings on fire?

Brits can riot. Yanks can't do it as they carry arms. Does that make sense?

Just the sun has gone down, so it's looking like a hot night in London. Media all criticising the Met Police, why?

New footage from Clapham................ Looks mental, they are saying rioters all young. Reporter saying no Police around, looting a hairdressers? Silly but glad I'm not there. Lots of looting.

BBC reporting 300 Police Officers from outside London drafted in. Is this for real? Looks like 10,000 needed. Saying now 1,400 Police involved in the defence of London. BBC reporting Water Cannon and Army being brought in from Northern Ireland

They did mention them but they didn't actually say they were being brought in. We have no water cannons in this country and they said they are thinking about bringing some over from N.Ireland. As for the army the guy they were interviewing said that wasn't down to him.

Though with trying to keep track of multiple news sources I can understand catching half of that and thinking it was actually happening.

Well no matter what anyone says, bricks, petrol bombs, burning down buildings etc are all potentially lethal activities and potentially warrants Armed Responses?

Yeah we need a decent 'Police Force' for sure, but they are more bothered about catching folk speeding at 35mph in a 30 zone with their camera vans than actually defending tax paying and (give or take) law abiding citizens doing their UK contributions.

I have never heard so many police sirens in my life. My girls are seriously worried. If any God loving christians are on this thread I ask you to pray as I am picking up a bad feeling behind all this.

I have had the police at my house due to my rabbits being killed by a male youth recently and I warned them about the TETRA mobile system and how it affects their Beta brain waves: it makes them have less compassion for others.
Well mobile phones have the same affect and youths are on them all the time. And if you live within 2km of a TETRA base which happen to be at police stations, then all day and night you are being bombarded with these Beta brainwave lengths.
So I am not surprised that rioting is happening. And I am sure it will happen again. Margaret Thatcher was warned not to use the 17Hz wavelength (which is TETRA) by the USA CIA. (www.rense.com)

Please pray as we are quite close to two of the rioting areas (I am not saying which as that will get me banned.)

Does anyone think they will bring in emergency powers and lock down London?

Have they ever done that before.

Also heard now several incidents in Liverpool also, as well as Birmingham, a unmanned police station on fire, and also all over London.

100 Arrests made in Birmingham.

Also reports of someone being shot, and another individual injured.

I just awoke this morning to see the new news of refreshed violence spreading accross the UK (I am in Australia)
This is really upsetting me.
I mean, what is the point? This i snot about revolution. This i snot about uprising to make your voice heard. This is not about freedom or politics of any kind. It is about criminality and theft. Gangs looting and burning and beating people up.

Ashamed to be English. Feeling very upset as I watch this from a world away.

Lewisham and Croyden - I lived in that area many years. Just seen Croyden in flames on the TV.

If anyone like me lives around or between clapham and croydon, I think it's best to stay inside, I've seen the crazy things happening, and my brother just came from clapham with plenty of crazy video footage of things happening there, someone close to me who is 15 years old was involved with all his friends, everyone is tempted to join in on the mass theft and vandalism, because it's so easy to just think, "it's all gonna get stolen anyway, I might as well get some stuff quickly then", it feels like everyone is getting involved which is really shameful.

Someone told me he just saw three guys beat up a girl because they were fighting over some clothing, he said it was like a horror movie.

The thing is right now even with the riots it's not THAT dangerous outside, because it's mostly just theft, but tomorrow it can go either way, it might calm down or it might get much worse, which means more violence towards each other and police. So stay safe guys.

Ill be going up there to riot if they call off my teams 1st match in the premier league for 15 years.

Im proud that there hasnt been a single incident in my city as far as I know.

If this isnt locked down soon, we will see the BNP and EDL out in force and then it will get very ugly.

IMO its time to break out the rubber bullets and water cannons.

Only the mid week games so far confirmed off, they should leave it until Thursday at the earliest to make a decision.

The police need to clamp down instead of standing by, the softly softly approach isnt working,
