Some of the things that needs to happen:

Eliminate many of these tax loopholes
Tariffs
Eliminate many of these entitlement programs.

Many people (mostly Democrats) believe the issue is a revenue program....it isn't, it is a spending issue. Until some of you diehard Republicans and Democrats realize neither party has the stones to start cutting spending, you are going to see the same old rhetoric.

As to the keynesian economics supporters, you are seeing the result of trying to spend money to get out of a fiscal situation. Rome is burning, and you are just starting to see and smell the smoke (and what I am trying to say there is GET READY for a serious economic collapse)

I dont believe we will have a serious collapse. Our monthly interest is only 20% of our income I believe. If Obama annouced that within a month that are oil companies could drill in ALaska and they started moving equipment there the price of oil would drop world wide.

Personally I think there is intent to equalize the world economy - - but that's getting into One World Federation territory.

The trick as I see it is the two party illusion. The push and pull of liberal vrs conservative ideologies. Both ideologies are used as pablum for the masses in the same way as Marx saw religion as the opiate of the masses.
We are drugged with our belief systems into believing that we are right and the other side is wrong. Divide and conquer.

Freedom to choose here in the US is a detriment to world order. It is to volatile for the organizers of the coming one world governing body. The new super Congress is a step in that direction. Laws will continue to be put in place to limit freedom and force an end to the American Dream which I see as having been nothing more than one more false illusion designed to sucker the American citizen into believing they were part of the rich mans dream in the first place.

The equalization of the world economy? Oh sure, but not so much equalization as continued consolidation.

Many people say that we need to limit our debt. Well the truth is that a large portion of the world economy for the last few decades has been sustained on the over consumption of the American consumer. Banks and corporations for the last three decades have been handing out credit cards to children to suck them into debt while offering them visions of reality through movies and TV that supported this total consumptive materialism.

Some call us sheep. I think more like fish. The hook was dangled in front of us with various forms of worms and lures. Now we are caught and being reeled in.

Bottom line...The government has a certain amount of money coming in, and a certain amount of money going out. The government MUST spend no more than the amount of money coming in. This is the simplest of accounting.

Instead, the government decided (and this specifically targets Obama and the Democrats) to keep spending more than they have coming in, and decided to blame it on not being permitted to take more money from the American people in the form of taxes. THAT WAS A CONSCIOUS DECISION!

Let me say that again...the government knows how much money is coming in and decided to spend more. In my opinion...a lot of that money is spent on crap/pork.

You can pretend to blame anyone (the rich) or any administration (Bush) for cutting taxes, etc., but that is not the problem. The problem is the government MUST be held accountable, and forced to spend no more than they take in. There must be a requirement for a BALANCED BUDGET.

What this administration should have done, is prioritize its spending, cut from the least important spending and then figured out how to save on the balance of their spending. All with the goal of living within their means.

Everyone has to ask these questions. Do we want government to go into debt (or deeper debt) or tax the people more, or do we want government to live within their means. I think we pay enough to the government...they don't need a "raise" (eg. more revenue).

Come on people...use your brains not your politics...the government is no different than our families. You must budget your expenses...what is coming in versus what is going out. If you borrow, borrow more, and then borrow more, you end up in bankruptcy. That is where our government is taking us. There is no big pay-off coming to cover the borrowing, there is no commission check in the future, no lottery winnings, etc. What we borrow will never be paid off unless we cut their spending. WE ARE TAXED ENOUGH (counting ALL taxes). It is time to tell them NO MORE. This is OUR money...not theirs. And they have proven themselves the worse at handling our money.

I am personally, voting anything but Democrat in 2012. They have failed us during this term, and I will fully hold the next administration accountable for doing what Obama failed to do...CUT SPENDING. As painful as that may be. But they also better cut from the right places.

You're absolutely right. The "Obama destroyed our country" folks are the ones who defended Bush while he bombed four countries (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen) and put our country into the situation its in now. Not a big fan of MSM.

Also, the modern day Tea Party rallies consisted of Libertarians for the most part until Fox News saw it could take advantage of it and threw politicians like Palin into the mix. Now the Tea Party consists of Glenn Beck and Hannity fans.

Also, they believe limited government involvement unless its the government prohibiting women's rights or gay/human rights in general. So yes, they're a bit moronic at times.
