Gee - who'd have thunk it? A President with virtually no political experience knows virtually nothing about how his government works. What a surprise! Unfortunately, most of the Democrats won't admit they were just as stupid for wanting him in office.

The Democrats can always blame Obama's incompetency on Bush. That's right...they are already doing that.

I voted for Bush the first term - - - with great hope. Then reality happened. I wouldn't be surprised if Bush makes the list of worse presidents ever.

Bush began with a positive economy - - then preceded to destroy it.

YES! Absolutely Obama has taken on one of the worst situations in the history of this country - - - as a result from the Bush presidency. Anyone denying that is wearing blinders.

Obama said from the beginning he would systematically study each issue and address it after it was assessed.

Seems to me that is exactly what he has done. I personally had no fixed expectations - - - because he said studies had to be done before any conclusion could be reached.

In reading serious reviews of his efforts so far - - - I have no issues. This is not a job that you can wave a magic wand and have everything you want.

anyone see the daily show clip where a harry potter looking reporter asked obama in December if he just gave the republicans leverage ? it was shocking

Wow! That was awesome. I agree with Stewart at the end; we should find that reporter and put him on Obama's payroll.

As I said in a previous thread, Obama was hired to be a policy salesman. When Obamacare and the Debt debate were rolling, the only thing Obama did was organize meetings. Obama sits back and allows the Democrats to make policies. When the Democrats get into a jam, Obama goes out and sells their policies to the public.

If I were in his position, thank god I am not, I would have created a plan on my own. After I created a sort of outline, I would contact some independent accounting specialists.

My questions would be:
(1) Which programs are redundant?
(2) Which programs have failed? Why?
(3) Which programs are getting too much money for what they do?
(4) What programs can we cut?
(5) What programs can we shave?
(6) Are there other means for bringing in revenue?

(7) What types of steps do we need to take today, so we can lower the national debt ceiling within five years?

Do you know what Obama did? Teleprompter time! Sell... Sell... Sell...

Obama didn't trying to come up with a solution of his own.

I don't call that a leader.
