im not watching any alex jones. this super congress looks like it's just and idea right now. also it was proposed by House Speaker John Boehner.

unless they got the majority, the super 13 or whatever doesn't exist as far as i know.

First of all where are you getting the idea that there will be no other input? Second of all Congress can delegate their authority to whomever they want per the Constitution. Thirdly this is just part of the Congressional body that is tasked to come up with something solid, which will be debated on.

How do you think certain bills arrive in Congress. They are written by small groups and rarely if ever as a group effort. Then it is looked over and debated and modified as necessary. This will be no different.

special joint committee. From what I understand it was in the bill that was voted on. The bill passed meaning the special committee was accepted.

However, one article I read said it gave too much power to the committee.

I remember it was mentioned on the news. Its a committee under the guise of trimming 1.5 trillion of the deficit. Thats all I've found on it.

Not surprising most of what they do now days is outside of thier constitutional authority anyways. I am more curious when the flip the American people as whole will decide they have gone to far... Maybe when they ban football or beer the people will finally revolt...

It is very interesting to say the least.

I don't find that much interesting in it. Basically this is just a group that's appointed to do some research and file a report with Congress on their recommendations.

A bit boring as it's done all time.

Gotta agree here; just like the military base closures were too much of a political hot potato to vote for. No congressman would ever vote to cut a base in his own district(political suicide). They created the "BRAC" comittee process ( Base Realignment and Closure") to reccommend closures. It takes the heat ( accountability) off individual congressman. I see this as much the same and I'm one of the more paranoid anti-nwo types here.

Could it be twisted for "bad"? Probably; but I'm suffering from enough adrenalin fatigue after the last couple of weeks. I'll leave my guns in the locker and try not to worry about things clearly outside my direct control. Until they actual go "pear shaped".

Just wait till this committee decrees a tax increase then everyone will cry and whine about how could we have let this happen... It appears the ignorance of the American people knows no bounds
