What you say is correct about the runways. In addition, Pena's brother (or cousin) bought up all that land where the airport was going to be built when it was discovered that the elder Pena was on the way to becoming the Sec of Transportation. So he could easily approve Federal money to build this airport and cause it to be fraught with cost over runs (which the government paid).
There was a solid argument to move away from Stapleton. It was too small and the airlines were moving ahead with the hub and spoke system of moving passengers. Prior to deregulation, airlines developed schedules based on demand. Post deregulation, airlines could run airplanes into hub airports and then send out smaller airplanes to the out lying airports, or drop folks along another "hub" route. DIA was one of those Hubs and because of it's locale, it needed to be big to handle all the airplanes flying into the central part of the country before continuing on to the final destination. Well, economics drive the airlines (and the price of fuel) and with the increases in fuel costs, the airlines needed to change their plan. Although they have stayed mostly with the hub and spoke theory, the airlines have moved into more direct, city-pairs based flight schedules. DIA and the hub and spoke system never really grew into what planners thought would be.
As a secondary use, I could see where airports could serve as a central gathering area in the event of a natural or un-natural disaster. You can fly right to them then run under ground. But to say DIA was build as a bunker!? I'd say that's a stretch, but I'm certainly not going to change anyone's mind that believes this. I can say this,... your chances of dying from old age are probably better than getting hit by an asteroid or killed by some NWO. I'd plan of that. Make sure your health insurance is paid and you can leave something for your grandchildren. Good luck.

Well, I Don't know about CJs newsflash but I have heard that there are 88.5 miles of space carved out underneath the DIA, and I am not referring to the buried pentagram buildings but underneath them. There is also be train tunnels which connect these bunkers with all the rest of the bunkers in the US, as well as a canal that allows ships to arrive and offload cargo. This information has come from various sources but there is a video on YouTube that shows stills which are supposed to be of the underground bunker there. It also showed stills of an underground loading dock with semis backed in. Don't know if these are actually from under DIA or not, but the video leads you to believe they are.
There is also a video I found on YouTube and committed to disc somewhere that is narrated by a man who claims to have been under contract to help build the bunker. He said he tried to quit but was reminded in rather heavy terms that he was under contract and that contract would be honored. He says he returned to work and then when one of his family died he was granted a hardship leave, whereupon he never returned, even to collect his final check. Again, not proof, don't know. Today is a busy day, when I get the chance I will find the second video and post it. (I finally know how.)
Finally, I am reading Mr. Marrs' book Rise of the Fourth Reich right now, or I was until I discovered this sight. I am overjoyed that he is a member here as I have been reading his stuff for a long time now. A good book to read with his is "The Secret War Against The Jews" by Aarons and Loftus. Between the two you come away with the unmistakable knowledge that the Nazis, after being militarily defeated, dropped the guns and uniforms, grabbed the money and relocated to the Americas. Their corporations never missed a beat. And who masterminded this smooth transition? Allen Dulles and his brother John Foster Dulles, and they have an airport named after them.
If you look at the goings on today in the United States and compare them to the conditions in pre-WWII Germany the dots start to connect by themselves. I hear some people say; "Oh you're imagining all this, your paranoid, go back to sleep." But this stuff is weird enough that I am going to continue to pay attention.

Ok. So, we all know that the government and private investors are planning a head of some great catastrophe. We all know that they are very secretive.
We all know. My question is what are we going to do about it? Nothing. There is nothing we can do. So why discuss it. Waste of time. These are things
that are out of our control. I assume we all know that this world has and expiration date, no matter what religion you follow, so again, this isn’t
anything that we can manipulate or change. Unfortunately, we have to sit and take it. My point is, why dwell on the future when there are plenty of

Interesting, been to Hartsfield Jackson Airport several times in the last couple of years and I never noticed the Corncorde before.
No comments on a theory though.
