Since others here have pretty much already torn some fairly large credibility holes in this story....I won't go over what others have already said. All I'll say is this:

Any story that starts off with a farmer killing Aliens with a Samurai sword..........is probably going to be a whole lot of B.S.

I mean...come on....How many home intruders are killed with Samurai swords every year? My guess is 0-1.
Yet a farmer just happens to see an Alien and decides to show the little guy that his 'Kung Fu is the Strongest'
.........Seriously?
That wouldn't even make a good Comic Book story......

I just posted a story that showed up in my email newsletter. I totally agree the story sounds outrageous -- it just seems the naysayers got all hot under the collar and started flinging poo at the people cited, and I wanted to know whyTHEIR sources were any better. Does that make sense?

I don't really believe it happened. Like I've also repeatedly said, I'd like to talk to the property owner myself.

i have an open mind about these things, but is it proof of alien life or is it a cover up by the people responsible for cattle mutilation. who knows. i suppose that if we ever did get full disclosure people will still be sceptical because of questions like this

Dodgy doctors, no alien photos and uncofirmed lab reports.... Hmm... Why do I get the feeling this will turn out to be nothing? Yet again.

damn....again I've waisted time of my life to read such a stupid thread and now I am even commenting on it. But I only want to say: I don't understand why people write PROOF of something in the title and than there is a story about a hillbilly slicing an alien in a half with a SAMURAI sword????? WTF??

Well, an expert at last! Welcome to the party!!
First off, I said I've been on George Filer's email list for THIS year - I signed up in January after seeing some strange orbs in the sky outside my house. George Filer is a retired Air Force Major. He just collects these stories and circulates them.

He was not there when this supposedly took place, nor was he involved in the investigation. Perhaps you could get hold of Mr Levengood and ask for more photos.

I find it amusing how folks are misreading the thread - speed-reading through it maybe, and not checking links.

Someone above said it was "sad" because the guy killed a scientist. Nope. He claims he sliced through a Gray alien on his ranch, and has been doing so for several years, as he has been apparently besieged by them. He then informed someone (and I can't quite make out WHO he first informed), and the samples were sent to Mr W C Levengood, who is a botanist, who then sent them out to some "labs."

We have been trying to dig through the internet to connect the dots...(THANKS to boncho, especially!), and seem to have arrived at something of a
PERSONAE DRAMATIS:

the Samurai guy is "John," who with his brother has an alleged history of dealing with Gray aliens,
Levengood and Andrews are crop-circle researchers,
Collins is an author

"CONDOR" Also known as Robert Collins who took part in a DISINFORMATION program with WILLIAM MOORE and RICHARD DOTY against PAUL BENNEWITZ.

Bennewitz was involved in research that the Air Force deliberately squelched, and later had a nervous breakdown.
Unspecified labs then tested the samples, compared them to their 30 years' worth of accumulated samples, and said they found similarities or consistencies that link cattle mutliation with the Gray aliens.

Proof? This has just been another 11 page waste of time to read. Definitely tired of reading threads titled "PROOF"

Can you please provide real proof? All I see is a claim being made and some very unclear photos. Immediately, this whole thing sounds like a shoddy hoax.

Nope, I can't! It isn't "my" story.

■OP says proof has been found. (The articles linked to doesn’t say, "PROOF, folks," as part of their title anywhere. Only the title of the thread says that in those words, at least that I can see.)

The "proof" part was in Mr Levengood's remarks.

"You have thesmoking gun," "this is proof of alien life visiting Earth and links the phenomenon togetherpositively!" These were Dr. Levengood's words!

Okay, a few sincere members have commented, and I appreciate that, and your efforts to keep the thread on track.
----------------------------------------
I want to add that most farmers and ranchers that I know keep firearms AND blades. Machetes or katanas can cut down trees...and behead snakes...In fact, what farmer or rancher would NOT have blades? I live on only 1/3 acre, and I have several blades of various shapes and sizes. So the claim that he had a Samurai sword is, really, not all that bizarre. Guns and blades are tools, both have usefulness for different situations.

I have not had a chance to listen to the radio interview.
---------------------------------
TO BONCHO, I don't know how this thread got so many flags!
---------------------------------
In surfing for more info, I see that this same story has been posted on several ufo sites and paranormal sites. It is clearly making the circuit.

And to those of you who claim the thread "wasted your time", well, no one forced you to sit and read through all of the posts, did they? Or force you to reply?

For me, it has been entertaining and informative. I am reserving judgment until more evidence is made available.

TO WINGEDBULL, I admitted I had not heard of them. I have peeked about in UFO stuff for decades, but have not learned all the heavy hitters and players' names. Shame on me.

Cheers, all!

Arguing about William C. Levengood credentials(U of Michigan affiliation can be proven) and peer reviewed papers derailed the thread.

They are legitimate, found in various indexing databases, even Nature and Science ones.

2 crop circle papers were published in Physiologia Plantarum. Don't know why attempt to point to later paper to assassinate character and qualifications.

Thanks, I agree. I had no idea that the people named in the story were thought by some members (with such vast and expert knowledge, evidently) to be frauds or nutcases or whatever.

now that rang a bell about an article i recently read about this philadelphia experiment, which reminded me of what al bielek reported although his credibility and the public view on PE is a bit questionable.

here is an excerpt of his taped speech;
source

So we did or started to, then I got called out to Los Alamos and to a place called Camp Hale, Colorado, along with Dr. Vannevar Bush; and what was he doing? He and Vannevar Bush were the scientific team in charge of recovering a crashed UFO at Aztec, New Mexico in 1947. It was totally unbeknownst to me because, in the meantime, the Navy washed me out and did a number on me, and he was there again in 1948 for another crash, or two crashes, of more UFO’s; everyone or all of the bodies were dead in those cases. In 1949 one crashed more or less intact, and they recovered a live one. This one was called “EBE-1”, and was found wandering around in the fields. They captured him, and they took care of him, and they tried to find out what made him “tick”. They communicated with him — him or it. They couldn’t see if there was any determination of sex of this individual. They called in the doctors because he was obviously not too well. He was getting worse by the day. Doctors couldn’t do a thing with him, they didn’t know what was wrong.

and now the tricky part about the alien that felt sick;

They called in a botanist, a PHD in botany. He found out what was wrong. This little guy had CHLOROPHYLL in his veins. Stood about three feet high. Looks like a typical picture of the little Gray’s, except he wasn’t a Gray. But he had chlorophyll in his veins and he lived on sunshine. So they had to keep him out in the sunshine, at least some part of the time.

dunno.

and besides, i think that when discussing such subjects one should bear in mind that the whole stuff is scrambled with loads of baloney and there is a purpose of as much disinfo as possible behind and this is what makes both sides, the skeptics and non-skeptics right imo.

So farmers are cutting aliens in half with samurai swords and all we have is a crummy blood sample.

No one finds this odd?

Absolutely hit the nail on the head there, we can just about end the thread with that one.

The article itself just stinks of unreliability too, what with the grammar mistakes and so on, not very convincing.

Umm forgive me for my ignorance, but....

Firstly, what ranch in Phoenix..?

I have never heard of any alien attacks on any ranches in Pheonix before.

Secondly, if aliens attacked this ranch, why is it even still there..?

I would think that aliens with far more advanced tech would just vapourize the whole place and the people who live there is any aggressions was shown towards them.

Thirdly, these aliens keep comming back for more?

If I walked onto someones ranch and they shot at me, I'd get out of there and never come back. Or at least I'd come back in greater numbers with some really big guns and raise the place to the ground.

Forthly, There's blood and there have been bodies over the years..?

But nobody has ever taken a picture of a body or presented one to the public. The millitary or law enforcement has never moved in to take over the situation. They just clean up after every attack as if it were just another day on the ranch...LOL

The fact that these aliens keep getting their asses handed to em by a bunch of rednecks with shotguns and swords, is quite strange. Given the stories of other similar events where these grays seem to have no dificulty what so ever overpowering and kidnapping people or flying over millitary bases and neutralising weapons systems,

Seems to me that if these aliens are actually coming to this ranch and not firing back, allowing themselves to be harmed, I would take a rough guess that they are not attacking and are trying to communicate, while these rednecks are just... well, being rednecks..!!

I call BS on this whole story..!!!

or rather Pics please, an actual corps, live alien... or it never happened !!

I seriously doubt Grays are primitive enough to engage in hand to hand combat.

Did you read the response from his colleague Ms Talbot? Did you look at the long list of his published works?
He's credible in the academic and scientific worlds, and apparently doesn't give a hoot about media's impressions of him.

Even a credible academic can go senile...

This whole story is total BS.. Aliens and Samuri ranchers... ROFLMAO

Did Quentin Tarantino invent this story?

Its right up his line...

The line often heard in here comes to mind "pics or it didn't happen"

Not that I'd trust any pictures any more than I trust a word of this absurd story, a story so riddled with nonsense it amazes me that it lasted this long and got so many flags.

As the Police say, "Move along, there's NOTHING to SEE here"
