What is a Tea Party person ?

Do you believe in the Constitution and amendments as written ?
Do you believe in limited government ?
Do you believe in low taxation ?
Do you believe in honest, open, representation in congress ?
Do you despise government controlled healthcare ?
Do you believe in real secure borders ?
Do you believe illegal aliens are in fact illegal and are therefore committing a crime against the US ?

These are only a few, but not all, of the ideals Tea Party people hold to. You decide if you are a Tea Party person too, or not.

Good guide lines.. but the way the Tea Party has been implementing these isn't right. Pushing the US into default isn't the way to fix our problems.. it will just make things worse.

...I do understand when the states fall, it takes the rest of us with it. It just amazes me that some of you think that the world would tolerate ever increasing spending.....it is going to end sometime, and perhaps that sometime is closer then you think.

It has already happened. That is why the Federal Reserve is printing money at such a great rate.

Those pretty green slips of paper in your wallet commonly known as U.S. dollars are Federal Reserve Notes. Bank scrip. The Fed can print as much of it as it wants or needs to. With this in mind, consider that fully eighty percent (80%) of U.S. Treasuries (U.S. government debt) sold in 2009 were bought by the Fed because there were no other willing buyers. factsnotfantasy.blogspot.com...

There is no good "Deliverable" gold left in Fort Knox

The Wall Street Journal reports Friday that gold prices are soaring to record highs as a new powerful factor has emerged as a driver of that rally — China.

According to the Journal, China is now buying huge amounts of gold ...
key data released by China’s state-run Xinhua news agency showing that China imported 209.7 metric tons of gold in the first 10 months of this year. That’s a five hundred percent increase compared to the same period in 2009... www.moneynews.com...

I very strongly suggest everyone read: HYPERINFLATION

ECONOMIC 101 - FIAT MONEY effects:

...In a fiat monetary system, there is no restrain on the amount of money that can be created. This allows unlimited credit creation. Initially, a rapid growth in the availability of credit is often mistaken for economic growth, as spending and business profits grow and frequently there is a rapid growth in equity prices. In the long run, however, the economy tends to suffer much more by the following contraction than it gained from the expansion in credit. This expansion in credit can be seen in the Debt/GDP ratio....

In most cases, a fiat monetary system comes into existence as a result of excessive public debt. When the government is unable to repay all its debt in gold or silver, the temptation to remove physical backing rather than to default becomes irresistible.... [Nixon removing US from gold std August of 1971. cv]

Hyper-inflation is the terminal stage of any fiat currency.

In hyper-inflation, money looses most of its value practically overnight. Hyper-inflation is often the result of increasing regular inflation to the point where all confidence in money is lost. In a fiat monetary system, the value of money is based on confidence, and once that confidence is gone, money irreversibly becomes worthless, regardless of its scarcity. Gold has replaced every fiat currency for the past 3000 years.... kwaves.com...

The Average credit card debt per household is $14,687 this does not include education loans, car loans and house mortgages. 97% of the US money supply is in the form of banks loans.- Interesting that the US dollar has lost 96% of its value since the Federal Reserve Act.

A nasty picture and a very good reason NOT to raise the debt limit. If it is raised the federal reserve will "Buy" the deby with money printed out of thin air, this will dilute dollars even more and tick off China and Russia. - Hyperinflation anyone???

I remember in high school back in the 70’s we were required to read George Orwell’s book “1984” I remember asking my head and chuckling that “it could never happen here” Well guess what IT DID and it’s OUR FAULT. Somewhere in the last 40 years we all got tied up in our daily lives and trusted the officials that WE ELECTED to do the job that we elected them to do, keep taxes low, balance the budget, keep us out of wars etc. THEY FAILED and WE FAILED and now “Big Brother” IS HERE and it’s our responsibility to take back our government. This country is on the brink of financial disaster and all I hear is “It’s the republicans fault” or “It’s the democrats fault” guess what it’s both parties fault because both parties want to proceed like it’s business as usual and neither party wants to do what needs to be done to get us out of this mess. I haven’t heard any politician, democrat or republican say we need to make massive cutbacks in federal government (with the notable exception of Mr. Ron Paul.) to them a fat, bloated government is just business as usual. I’ve had friends in positions in the military where they were involved in procurement for military bases and the incredible waste. One example was a friend told me about spending $100,000 dollars on the last day of their fiscal year on sporting equipment for the base to use up their budget and to ask for a larger budget for their next year, your basic spend it or lose it mentality. If this is the case overall in our government how many billions are being wasted? And do our elected officials do anything about it? No, business as usual. More and more I’m turning away from both political parties and supporting the Tea Party members because at least they want the same thing as most average Americans do. Financial responsibility from our elected officials, lower taxes, less government.

So, you have a memory going back a few years such as I.
I had a draft card and protested the right of a Government to have me trained to kill and not have a right to Vote.
That taught me one very special lesson. And that lesson was they do not represent "We the People" they, then as now represent their own ambitions of an all corrupting Power over those they are placed over.
Once I was out of HS in "72" I was able to get a Job, grant it being in a factory being paid $1.85 per hour. Gas was $029.9 per gal. Rent was $75 a month and so forth. Very quickly prices went through the roof and my pay never was able to keep up.
The Politicians promise to help the unfortunate cope ever so slowly raising the minimum wage and that helped a little but never enough to support a family of 3.
I scraped up enough money and created my own Business and kept paying to Caeser what was his (Taxes). All of those taxes. Especially I am talking about SS.
I never wanted for anything and never wanted anything from Ceaser, just peace of mind and my freedom to choose.
But as stated earlier I knew that it was wrong of me to think that i would ever receive those two mentioned in the last line.
Never did it seem that all the taxes I paid into the SS would be made to have the Government borrow from me to pay for it's Defense Budget and Crimes( Murders all forms). Oh, I do remember when this Actor was able to borrow from SS to do so. Many here forget that fact. This actor got the USSR to fall apart by taking that very SS and using it to build a Military establishment to envy all Military Establishments thus the USSR fell.
Now years later I was injured my wife dead and child.
Couldn't keep working do to Bad Heart and Cancer, never did I want anything from anyone that demanded that I take another life. Now i have to depend on what I was promised by Ceaser.
I hate Ceaser and all he stands for.
Either I die a slow death from hunger and no care or kill myself. I had to lower myself in order to ask for Medicare and SSD. Only reason is my Grandson, i wish to have a few years watching him grow.
SS, all programs paid for my "We the People" were not made a Cash Cow for purposes Murder.
The ODDS in Vegas are 3 to 1 that we fail to pay our bills for we have used all resources to borrow from.
SS was self supporting and still is, but both parties borrowed from it and broke it.

Military spending on Mercenaries alone would costs more then any of you possibly know.
For instance in Iraq we had Contractors use Third World labor build our Embassy and it cost 1 Billion dollars.
Mercenaries Guard our politicians and average pay is $150,000 for each. They are Cowboys.
To supply 1 gallon of gas to the troops in Afgan. eventually ends up being $400 dollars for one gallon.
Air conditioning for the troops cost $20,000,000.
A soldier gets about $20,000 and a Merc gets $150,000. We actually have more Mercenaries working for us then troops. Go Figure that one out.

Then to Top all that off we have 22 Lobbyist on the tails of each Congress person.
"We the People" are actually only a second thought and only when it is time to be re-elected do they come and try to please us. But they really have an eye on their retirements and medical care.
"We the People" do not matter. Only a comfortable life is their Goal.

I should of never believed any of them.
I and all of "We the People" are to blame for being deceived by all these Devils in Three Piece Suits.

A little to late to do anything but slide down that slippery slope they have shoved us onto.
What a Sorry state for such as "We the People"

Looks like the Glen Beck squad has come into this thread to defend the indefensible.
They have forgotten the 8 years of George Bush, and that his illegal Iraq war and tax cuts for the rich have increased the debt more than anything Obama has done.

floodingupeconomics.wordpress.com...

Understand though that I am not a lover of Obama. He is a fake progressive and has lied and deceived and bent over too much to the anti-middle class-pro-rich tea party republicans.

But that is becasue Obama is actually a globalist puppet following their orders to diminish the living standards of the middle class in America, as this is being done all over the western world.

The elite are using the very unintelligent nonsense of the tea party philosophy as a hammer to aid in the destruction of the middle class with these massive budget cuts and other nonsense and hysteria over debt.

The tea parties are puppets too, but they don't have a clue that they are, and are under massive delusions that they are legitimate. They will be sent away and eliminated as soon as they fulfill their function just like any shill or puppet that has served its purpose.

I just got word that some guy posting on the free republic site said something about a certain person and some people with a 3 letter name came a knockin...looks like the Gestapo is gearing up.
Oh yes and I was listening to Glenn Beck tonight, and Rand Paul was on. He pretty much llaid it out. Both parties are basically laying out plans which don't reduce any debt, in fact it only reduces the amount of raised debt. He said both plans are pretty much that way. The reality is that Congress refuses to do the right thing.

Do you think that Bill Gates is a true Progressive? He is ultra wealthy and elite, believes in depolulation, and his favorite method is vaccines, he said in a TED conference. He donates millions to depopulation programs.

No I know they're a good band... that's why it baffles me that you're a right-winger... doesn't make sense.

All liberal links?? Just look at the facts... read the articles, they aren't all liberal links. Do you think I'm going to find information on Fox News about this? How about the NASA website? Nah, not gonna find it there.

Ok you cited NASA as a site, so are we talking about Climate Change now? NASA is part of the Big Govt machine anyway.

Oh Jesus... you serious? Get out of here with that.

State health depts. also provide those services to the uninsured, even illegal aliens, at little to no cost., depending on the income they declare on the sign-in application forms. In fact the state requires that no one can be refused service due to income, race, or ethnicity. Health dept. personnel are prohibited to ask for (proof) of residences, citizenship, or income.

I agree we should bring our troops home from most foreign nations, except from those allies who that feel our presence is necessity for their "protection". But if they want us there, they should foot the bill, not US taxpayers. How about placing those returning troops on the border and stop the invasion??? Would you accept that as a more positive use of military resources.

Bill Gates I doubt is any kind of progressive. I doubt he is any big shot in the Globalist elite though he has gone to the Bilderbergers and the Bohemian grove. Money can buy one access but not real power unless you have the capacity, aptitude and cruelty that makes you capable of being a top guy in the globalist agenda.

Gates obsession with education, vaccines, and medical research may indicate the globalist have given him the mission to find immortality, something they will never have access to because their souls are not correct.

You mean because he's a Globalist he can't be a Progressive? Wow, I'm fluxated, to use Back To the Future terminology.

Globalists only pretend to be progressives as they sometimes pretend to be conservatives.

When globalists start talking about ending war and feeding the starving, and gearing resources to ending suffering for all in the earth then they will be true progressives

While that does indeed stand out at first glance, what he is likely referring to is that in countries where child mortality is LOW, birth-rates are lower. In countries where people routinely have children die from common diseases, they usually have more children to combat this, pre-preemptively. The same was true in the West previous to vaccination programs where people's first child didnt die of, say, tb, or mumps.

It's definitely less sensational than your claims, but is the more rational conclusion, imo. Of course, I'm sure you think nefarious leaders tel us their dastardly plans at TED conferences all the time.

I understand your frustration. I suspect things are unfolding as they should in the greater scheme of things. I'd recommend " The Creature From Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin, and also this site www.Team Law.org with special attention to History of the Nation. Might surprise you.

Excuse me? Get out of here? Who the heck are you to say that to me? Geez people here have such gall. You think you are the only one entitled to speak an opinion? But then I think I have just rattled your cage a bit. No one says that who isn't just upset and feeling a bit emotional. People tell other people to leave a forum when they have nothing to back up their viewpoints.
