Yes thats right the Tea Party is to blame for all this mess.
Or....is that what they want you to believe.
After enduring the sanity depriving media blitz.
Thinking right, then left, sitting on the fence then falling off.
I am beginning to believe that the good old boys are in fact scared to death of the Tea Party.
That in fact if we do default, it is a false flag event to discredit the Tea Party.
You see the Tea Party while being under the guise of the Republican party.
Could become a third independent party unto it self very easily.
This is what has them shaking in their boots.
We have seen a number of mainstream Republicans latch on to the Tea Party.
I think in an attempt to corrupt it.
But it's not working.
While for me the Tea Party leans a little too far to the right.
I have been trying to think objectively about this.
Thinking of the debt crisis in this way is the only way it makes sense.
What do you think?

as a Dutch guy I would like †o tell every american, you are all to blame of your default.

Whatever, it was gonna happen sooner or later.

United states of debt.

And your two party system is one that I find baffling. How can you run a country with two parties that always disagree with each other?

Peace

Yup , it is the tea party's fault. They are terrorists . They are holding the country hostage. Be afraid , be very afraid. Gawd , when all this is over you will probably see very small spending cuts (that happen in ten years) and a loophole that allows raising taxes on everyone.

The Tea Party is just like every garden, you have to weed it.

A third party is really the only conformist hope we have to change the govt. direction, but I'm not really sure how that would play out considering how elections have been run the last few decades...

In my humble opinion, the Tea party does not have a single line of thought. They have many, wich are often conflicting wich each others. The Tea party is the political embodiment of pissed off peoples who are not sure why they are pissed off.

The U.S govt will not default, I don't care what anyone says. Just look at the people who will benefit if the debt is payed off. If the U.S does default though, that should put to rest the idea that the U.S is some sort of corporate/banker run state and other nonsense like that.

Parties, that is, partisanship, idiocy and the constant expansion of government and pet projects with the ever dwindling nature of American manufacture and export is what has led politicians to defaulting our country.

Anyone who actually seeks to blame one participant over any other is part of the problem and will have no real solutions. The problem is the system, that is, infection, we have allowed to grow and fester and become further and further corrupted.

Love Canada myself.
Except your housing prices.

But we don't have to default.
They just need to make it look like all this crisis is the Tea Part's fault.
Scare everyone away from them.

It wasn't always this way it used to be when we had liberals and conservatives even though they had different political ideals they was always able to find a middle ground that both sides could agree on because they realized sometimes you have to put aside ideals for the good of the nation. Then here comes Reagan who pushed capitalism on America which may have been a good thing but it quickly degraded into a corporatocracy. Which is a very bad thing and now you see the result of putting party ideals over the good of the country.

Man the last thing I want is bad things for America. I have family that lives there, and my mother is infact American. My granny refused to move up to canada years ago and she relys on her social security check every month just to get by in her little trailer. I just sent her 600 bucks and my mom sent her 300 bucks just incase things don't go so well for her next month. I understand times are tough and un employment is high, but I still can't help but feel a bit frustrated with the amount of americans that rely on the "system" or what not to get by. Heck I have to work 55-70 hours a week to make my house payments, sometimes i work 30 to 40 days out of town in a camp out in the bush without a day off
But i still do it.

What a joke! Who is at fault for our current economic woes is Congress! Starting with the Traitors who allowed the FED to come into existence over Christmas holiday 1913. And the Congress who came back from Christmas vacation in 1914 and didn't repeal the Act. Actually, there probably aren't 50 decent politicians in all of DC, and that's being generous! And that's also the problem. Fifty decent politicians who actually work for the people, who actually will not betray their oath to follow the Constitution just is not enough to pass or repeal legislation. There have been other decent politicians over the years--McFadden comes to mind!
Listen closely to Ron Paul here--he enlightens us all about this current "scam":
