Making an avatar is easy (Simple How To)

This seems to be an official gather-up-your-posts-to-twenty thread. Thanks mates

I am stymied completely

HERE->
1) Login to ATS
2) Click on "Tools+"
3) Scroll down to My Avatar
4) Open new tab
5) Go to Google
6) Click "Images" in the top left hand corner


What do you mean when you say - OPEN NEW TAB???? Because when I scrolled to the ATS "Avatar" window I see nothing in regard to a NEW TAB???.............

What is meant by --> 5) Go to Google ??? --->6) Click "Images" in the top left hand corner

SORRY BUT - Your instructions ARE NOT CLEAR - and you say its easy???

Nowhere have I ever had a hardtime entering an avatar image - EXCEPT HERE

Besides all that - when I get to the AVATAR BOX......IT asks me for a URL - I gave a URL and that should be it.........I got a message that was more complicated than your's was.............20 STEPS for an AVATAR ??? RIDICULOUS

Person does mean to open new tab on your internet browser,,when on firefox you will just click on + next to this page
is simple

erm,person mean type in www.google.com on new tab? then by click images just meansclick on word "images" in left side

instruction is very easy but will not work becuz ats want you upload avatar on to their stupid media portal. is annoying really. My suggestion to u is do not do this because media p[ortal is stupid and gets hacked

Is there anyone (else) here willing to give me PRECISE step by step instructions on how to get an AVATAR into ATS?

NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE TO ME - 4-8 are especially perplexing..............VOLUNTEERS PLEASE



1) Login to ATS
2) Click on "Tools+"
3) Scroll down to My Avatar
4) Open new tab ???????????
5) Go to Google ??????????????????
6) Click "Images" in the top left hand corner ?????????????????
7) Type "Small GIF" Then whatever you want to be your avatar ????????????
8) Choose Image and click on it ?????????????????????
9) On the far right side there will be a large white box that says Google Images at the top. In this box check to make sure the file type is GIF and the full size Image is no larger than 160 pixels wide, by 320 pixels tall
10) Click on "Full Size Image"
11) Drag and drop your chosen picture in full size onto you desktop (You can delete this later)
12) Go back to your ATS tab and click on "(upload avatar)" right beside your avatar URL (Witch should still be blank)
13) Now click on "Upload Photo"
14) Click "Choose File"
15) Now find your picture from your desktop and click on it then click "Open"
16) Click the small green button that says "Add Photo!"
17) Click on your picture
18) Scroll down to where It says "Use as ATS Avatar" and copy what it says in the text box
19) Go back to your original ATS tab and paste in the avatar URL text box
20) Click Submit and enjoy your new avatar

in tools click "ATS uploads"
follow instruction it give on this screen
have avatar now u are happy mates

Ok, I am bumping this one because I can't figure out how to make my avatar with the new site design. Anyone out there who can point me in the rigth direction? Thanks in advance

If this works, I found another thread that was about 3 steps. It worked! I typed into search 'how to put up an avatar' and there was a link to general uploading, and you just decided where you wanted the image.

Would be nice for this info to be updated. Or negated? Things are a bit different now. I'm new and can't seem to add an avatar at all. Post count restriction? Other restriction? I simply don't know.

It may be that the avatar addition has some kind of requirement, but as a new user, it is not blatantly apparent to me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
