Making an avatar is easy (Simple How To)

OKay I'm about ready to give up. I had my avatar saved from my photo album on ATS but it I still coudln't get it to work....only shows as the red x.

And I tried to watch the tutorial on how to put in yor avatar but I got a messages saying I needed to turn off the family filter...how do I do that?

OP, there are many people who prefer a step-by-step means when trying something new.

I appreciate the effort you put into the thread, the directions confused me is all. Thank you for posting the thread. Others seemed to find it helpful just not me. I look forward to reading anyother threads you start.

Is this the proper place to test out an avatar? I tried to select a suitable thread that wouldn't be derailed.

Thanks to all in this thread, plenty of feedback from others helped out. It took me a few days to make the avatar work.

12) Go back to your ATS tab and click on "(upload avatar)" right beside your avatar URL (Witch should still be blank) ???

I have a "update(not upload) avatar: [submit]" which does nothing. above that is an avatar guidlines link to a post from 2002!

Just want to have a picture along with a name.

This is a funny post you made, I thought about it a long time before I posted,
as I was thinking maybe it was still possible to save my self from posting
and I could run away, instead of trying to add an avatar.

It did not work for me, and i dont have that option to upload a gif, i can only use url. and that never works for me too.
