Coming From GLP

GLP keeps showing up in my search results and even in RSS feeds so I went to take a look. Found out I was banned even though I had not been there in at least six months and then only for a moment of two. I do not understand the thought process or intentions, but if they are intentionally attempting to alienate as many people as possible they are very good at it. Certainly not the way to grow on any level.

Yup, guaranteed. Ban your entire anonymous userbase (which Trinity has said is the lifeblood of GLP) and the site will die a swift death.

I never really thought anything of Trin and GLP until he started banning people for asking questions about the $250K "needed to finish" his telescope. Even if he was genuine in his intentions there wouldn't be a chance in hell of ever getting to use it with all of the users over there. Then this...All this money grabbing of his sounds like he just isn't satisfied with the amount of money he gets to spend on all his frivolous toys.

Just joined ATS after enjoying Godlike for a while -- even had an upgraded account.

A couple of weeks ago, he opened it back up for a while to fish for more suckers.

I posted a message saying I thought he was unable to make an honest buck, hence the bans and extortion for subscription fees ($120 a year? Please.)

I was rebanned in seconds.

Anyway, I did enjoy the rollicking nature there, but will be more civilized on this site.

Or at least I will try!
