ascension to what people refer to as the "next dimension" or "next level"....is going to happen, whether we're ready, or not...........i feel it's something we, as humans, are going to simply going to just have to accept.....we have no control as to what happens in the cosmos....we literally have to go along for the ride...doesn't matter if we want to, or not...we're here...therefore...we're literally the pilots of the new journey

I'm all for the ascension. The expansion of human consciousness beyond this state. As well as for the Rh negative blood type virus that's supposed to make a subset of the species more advanced than the rest of us. As well as for the arrival of extraterrestrial intelligence. As well as for government disclosure. As well as for the end of scarcity and the beginning of our evolution from a territorial culture to a global one. And all of the other positive things predicted to come to fruition from October this year until sometime in 2012-2013.

I could do without the negative predictions though, like massive earthquakes, world war, Yellowstone eruptions, crust shifts, the Dark Knight government faked alien invasion/chaos generator, and comet or asteroid impacts.

Please don't get me wrong. I'm as open and hopeful about the positive events happening as anyone else. I'm even open minded about the destructive events predicted, although of course I hope they don't. I want something amazing to happen. I want the world to change. I want our species to change. I want us to exceed our perceived limitations and be something greater than we can even imagine. And I believe we have the potential to do so in time.

But if nothing momentous or unusual happens by, lets say, April 2013, I hope people reconsider placing faith in these predictions finally. People have been predicting such events for as long as there have been people. Right here on ATS alone there have been countless thousands of such predictions. None of them have come to fruition thus far (with a few possible exceptions that could just as easily be simple coincidences.) And as of now, I have no reason to find these predictions any more credible than all the others.

I'm open to the possibility. I'm always hopeful. I long for something to happen like everyone else. But I'm not holding my breath.

And no, that's not because I "can't believe," or "don't want to believe." I want to believe. Oh, how I want to believe. And I am a firm believer in unconditional love and compassion toward all people, something I try my uttmost to practice, and something I truly feel. All I'm saying is... I'm not holding my breath. If it's going to happen, bring it on. But... I'm not holding my breath.

ascension to me is the reversing of the decension that happens after birth due to the conditioning and robbing of ones soul caused by the conditioning and separation brought about by our unnatural environment and programed beliefs .... escape from that and you have cycled back to your pure form ... the form you once were ...

I like the idea of finding the truth in our selves ... the complexity of reality is nothing more than the lack of simplicity in our perspective ... the true false reality is clouded by our separation!

I have been reading this thread and needed to say something here.

You will either ascend or you wont. It is already predetermined before you arrived on this plant. Therefore by trying to make other people believe in this is futile. They have made up their mind before they came here and are following a path that is predetermined.

By asking someone are you ready to ascend.. its not up to them for their physical bodies to decide, their soul has already decided before even coming here.

And if 'ascension' doesn't take place are you willing to admit you were wrong? Will you fall into a deep depression? I am not hoping so...but I think such thinking is a bit dangerous. Personally I have no qualms with the Idea of personal 'ascension' or 'enlightenment'......I just don't think such a thing would happen to the entire planet....wouldn't that sort of defeat the whole purpose of us being here to learn? Ascension isn't just 'given' to those who want it....it must be earned through patience.

it is 2012 - 2013 precisely because we as souls all chose to go back home and end this density experiment ,but there is going to be loads who don't ascend because they will have too much fear and wont let go of this reality, they will hold on until another cycle comes around , so it's all good for all souls because eventually all souls will ascend,just at different times.

your entitled to your opinion but don't give me that crap of saying i am trying to find something to get away from this reality! you don't even know me so how can you just blatently say that ,and yes i am achieving godhood just like loads will weather they know it yet or not.People will hold on right to the end and then instantly know what's going on and let go and ascend.I'm just one of those who's awakened earlier than other people, it doesn't mean i'm any better than anyone else.
